You should check out Mav on TH-cam, he’s got a pretty cool setup too, not as complex as this one though
@@datmonkey5680 Mav is cool and has a great vibe, but is way on the other end of the spectrum in terms of technical ability. Not dissing Mav in any way. But this build here, the level of production, how clean the set-up is is like comparing Mav's solo build to a professional builder with an architectural and design office within! :)
@@fa4025 agreed with ya. I pretty much curious if someday I have my own truck. I might probably just throw sleeping bag and pillow and off to campground right away with no build at all lol.

Everyone has already said it….but I’m still gonna comment. Extremely well done. It’s not just that everything is well thought out and well made…but us OCD peeps can even tell how much effort was put in to matching the colors and all the tiny details that make it look almost factory. Great job!

This has got to be one of the best versions of a truck camping build ive seen so far! Really nice job utilizing the space and kudos for not drilling unnecessary holes in the truck bed. Personally, id want a fridge in my build but I understand why you didn't. take care friend.
This coming Wednesday’s video is a part 2 of the full tour. It will show my 12v fridge that I put in the cab. Definitely a wise choice for longer trips…got tired of dealing with ice.

Super nice build, very well thought out. I go back and forth between a removable minimalist setup and the permanent one such as this. If I did anything permanent, it would be hard to beat this layout. Well done.

Dude. What. I've seen lots of functional setups, but yours, in addition to being functional, is beautiful! (On mine, I opted for a larger, 21 gallon water tank under the bed, but of course that reduces the amount of available storage space) Such a well thought out design!

@@BoHunter2010 yeah, I unfortunately had an experience with my solar panels trying to take flight. My Thule rack broke and they almost came free…causing a bit of damage. 😩

What a sweet setup. Well done!! I've been watching many truck camper builds and this one takes the cake. I noticed a vent fan up top. Smart. Considering doing something similar and gotta ask. Is the bed of the truck 6 ish ft in length? Looks like about 6'. Also, now that you've had time to use and test it out, do you have any thoughts about how the build could have been different/better if the truck bed was 8' and if the camper topper was a 36" wedge type topper? Not a critique or complaint about your topper height or truck bed length. I'm just imagining, if you could do that with that size truck bed and topper height, it would be amazing to see what you'd come up with more usable room for design space/elements. Thanks for sharing and safe traveling.
Thanks so much! The fan is great! The bed is around 6.5’. If so had the longer bed I’d have definitely put in a refrigerator and more cooking space with storage underneath. The added headroom would definitely be nice, but aesthetically my preference is a cap that matches the height of the cab. Thanks for watching!

Would love to hear more detail about your wiring for the solar/battery/breakers etc. Planning a similar build right now. Also, curious why you went with Bluetti over GoalZero when the later can be charged from the alternator. Great work!
I'll try to cover that in a a future video for sure. I decided to go with the Bluetti because I purchased it as a backer through indiegogo for a pretty good discount.
