Hi Sasha, I am newly Trans woman. I’ve been on HRT for 3 months, but for over a decade, I questioned whether I was trans or not. Now that I know I am, and I’ve started my journey. I’ve watched videos about different experiences of other trans women. I’ve been on dating apps, trying to reach out to meet people starting as friends, and I’ve experienced the same things as yourself people are not being honest or not reading my bio and then ghosting me I’m open and honest that I am trans and It is very disheartening that this happens. Me being a trans woman I’m not interested in men I’m, more interested in other trans women and cis women. I’m finding that all of the trans women that I meet are not interested in other trans women and cis women just want to be my friend. So I feel like my dating life is at a dead end. You are an absolute, beautiful woman and the way you hold yourself, your personality, and your tone of voice speaks so beautifully from the heart. Any man would be deserving of having you.

Yes this sucks, Amberwoods.... i discovered I am trans 8 months ago, and I am in my 60s.... But my tip for this is that we need to gather a lot of self love and courage and confidence. Yes there is a much more limited number of people that are going to be interested in going out with a trans (save for the sex nuts). I am like you I would like to meet other trans and make friends with people with whom I can share this situation. But thru all this, we must grow spiritualy. We must find our own dimension by ourselves. This is actually a universal spiritual law, which means, it applies to everyone. It means all of us have to become, up to a point, psychologically mature and self sufficient and realize we are self sufficient. And if we get to that point, a miracle will happen. Our glow, our confidence, will shine. And others will be affected and become attracted. So there is... yes a lot of hope !
I can't understand people who aren't honest on dating apps. If someone knows they aren't interested in dating a trans person, why would they bother to hook up with someone who's clearly stated that they're trans? Waste of everybody's time.

I think getting ghosting is normal for everyone. Sometimes it’s due to someone being so scared to tell the other they have lost interest. Due to no wanting to cause them pain. Yet that causes just as much if not more pain, ironically. Sometimes the person is just jerk too. I think sadly when it comes to trans it’s twice as common to ghost. Due to the added fear that if they say I’m not interested they will get the transphobic and might get blasted online for it. Due to the climate we have today. It doesn’t make it right though. They probably aren't despising trans-women, they just don't identify as gay or bisexual. Sexual orientation and gender identity seem to be very different things.

I'm a cis, white male over fifty. I have had lots of rejection in life in spite of being a reasonably attractive male (according to others). I think it's always 50/50. I am who I am and what I look like and how I behave. Others are the same. Sometimes we just don't work for whatever reason. It sounds like you believe that at least some of the time you feel like the rejection you deal with is due, at least in part, because you're a trans woman. That may be true. To me, anyone who rejects you even if that only plays a small part of their behavior - that's on them. People should just accept you for who you are, however you are. To be fair, most cis people don't even know a trans person or if they do are unaware this person is trans. I don't personally know anyone who has come out to me as being trans. I've had to learn about them, their lifestyles, their circumstances by doing research online. Your video and others like it help people like me understand your struggles, your highs and lows, your journeys. So it's really important you keep getting your message out there. You don't just help other trans people. You help people like me understand and relate to you. For the record, I think you seem like an amazing person. Period. That's all that really matters. this is why i dont use dating apps. i am pretty social. i have a small group of friends. some are guys. most are cis. every so often a new guy will show up. if he asks about me my friends intercept him and make sure he understands. yes im trans. and no i wont be your little secret.
I can relate a great deal. I'm a trans man, so maybe our experiences are just kind of gender swapped. I don't attract very great people and I think that's because I'm attracting what I think I deserve. The last couple of women I've fallen deeply for have been frickin married with children. Thank you for sharing! I have been dating a trans woman and I love her to death but I’ve come to realize that my trans experience is extremely different from that of trans women. It’s become very important to me to learn these struggles so I can better support her. The transphobia within the lesbian community is just as bad if not worse than the transphobia displayed by cis men towards trans women. It makes me so sad because...trans women are literally women. I don’t understand why the “trans” label should be a deterrent for others when, from my experience, it makes little difference in the strength of the relationship. The only real reason her identity has affected me is that she helped me to see my own identity as a trans person. Because of terfs, I disregarded my Dysphoria for years. I truly hope every trans woman finds a partner who loves them for who they are.

I just had my sex reassignment surgery, and I felt this video 100%. It's like, no, I didn't go into surgery expecting it to magically fix everything, there was an objective reasoning as to why I went ahead with the proceeder... but still, in the back of my mind there was this small little bit of hope that maybe, it will change everything and make me genuinely accepted as a woman, but it does not.... and I'm not bad looking at all. There's a bit of this relief to know that I'm not alone.
It’s quite remarkable how easily people reject others just for being “different”, whether it’s dating or friendship. While I accept people shouldn’t be forced to e.g date a trans person if they aren’t attracted to them etc? I do however find it rude to just completely cut the cord just for finding out the person is trans, even if there was that foundation of bond / the person had a great personality

Dating apps are toxic. Why would you wanna date someone too lazy or illiterate to read your profile. I've dated Trans Women... openly...found most of them to be too emotionally unstable. It's been my experience that a lot of trans women want someone to love them in spite of their being trans as opposed to because of it. Just my 2 cents.

In my honest opinion, the problem i see trans-women encounter is a lot of them(not all) are having the fantasy of finding a "straight guy" falling for them and want to forget the actually biological fact that this would turn them gay which they are not. And even if they are open to the actual concept, it isnt something they would really want to deal with in their daily life, with family and friends either. The argument is people being attracted to femininity, but the only thing is, if that is true then why would a straight guy go ahead in a relationship with a man that can pass as super feminine and look female and all vs having a real feminine female where he can build a real family with. Why would he go trough all the constraints and issues of dating a trans-women if he really has that attraction for female. So what end up happening is you have lots of people that want to have an experience and let it be that. Unfortunatelly, this puts most trans-women in that left over/ reject pile of people in quest of relationships. Thats why, I thinks if more trans-women would actually be looking for gay/bi-men, they would most likely find a real life long partner. But the problem is they arent too attracted to them because they lack the masculinity they are seeking in straight men. So, bottom line is being trans will always be super hard and with a very high risk of rejection in your quest for finding a guy.
As a woman it was obvious men didn't read my bio when we meet. They see a pic and that's it. So, don't take it personally. The only reason I'm even commenting is because you were up front and honest. I respect that. If youre looking for validation, you're not approaching dating for the right reasons.
As with most things in life, if it's meant to be, it will be. When I was young, I took rejection really hard, but one night while I was sleeping, I felt the voice of God tell me that He was rejecting them for me because they weren't right , nor worthy of my love. From that moment on I felt strong, free, and never looked back.
Your gender should always be on the headliner, In caps to get your suitors attention and always end with your likes/dislikes, hobbies, political stance and education etc... so that way you'll know if you're dealing with someone genuine or a flake. Are you on spiro? I have read that some trans women have less difficulties with sex interest just taking estrogen alone or estrogen and progesterone. That’s if you want to change your sex interest that is. 🤷🏻♂️

Can't help thinking that if you were not a trans woman and your face and hair looked more or less exactly the same, you wouldn't even need to go on a dating app to find a fellah.
Nothing wrong in wanting/not wanting to date a trans. It's a personal preference. It hurts getting ghosted, but this is the go-to method for dumping people. I dump via ghosting and been dumped the same way. I am not sure if this is controversial or offensive, but if i was trans, i would disclose this from the outset. i.e people who like trans, will date trans; those who don't won't and cannot be persuaded otherwise -- why put yourself through the headache of building a relationship only to find out the person is not into it --- by the way, lots of men don't read bios.

My best friend came out to me as trans(woman) and she is literally the most amazing person ever. She recently asked me out. I’ll probably say yes but it’s my first time dating another woman Edit: this video helped me get a good sense of the trans experience. I'm a cis, white male over fifty. I have had lots of rejection in life in spite of being a reasonably attractive male (according to others). I think it's always 50/50. I am who I am and what I look like and how I behave. Others are the same. Sometimes we just don't work for whatever reason. It sounds like you believe that at least some of the time you feel like the rejection you deal with is due, at least in part, because you're a trans woman. That may be true. To me, anyone who rejects you even if that only plays a small part of their behavior - that's on them. People should just accept you for who you are, however you are. To be fair, most cis people don't even know a trans person or if they do are unaware this person is trans. I don't personally know anyone who has come out to me as being trans. I've had to learn about them, their lifestyles, their circumstances by doing research online. Your video and others like it help people like me understand your struggles, your highs and lows, your journeys. So it's really important you keep getting your message out there. You don't just help other trans people. You help people like me understand and relate to you. For the record, I think you seem like an amazing person. Period. That's all that really matters. I can relate a great deal. I'm a trans man, so maybe our experiences are just kind of gender swapped. I don't attract very great people and I think that's because I'm attracting what I think I deserve. The last couple of women I've fallen deeply for have been frickin married with children. I always want women who are completely unavailable emotionally. To be honest, I don't know how to fix this. I'm just kind of along for the ride. I've been alone for 8 years, so at this point it's kind of like whatever. I'm starting to numb out.

Thank you for sharing! I have been dating a trans woman and I love her to death but I’ve come to realize that my trans experience is extremely different from that of trans women. It’s become very important to me to learn these struggles so I can better support her. The transphobia within the lesbian community is just as bad if not worse than the transphobia displayed by cis men towards trans women. It makes me so sad because...trans women are literally women.
I don’t understand why the “trans” label should be a deterrent for others when, from my experience, it makes little difference in the strength of the relationship. The only real reason her identity has affected me is that she helped me to see my own identity as a trans person. Because of terfs, I disregarded my Dysphoria for years. I truly hope every trans woman finds a partner who loves them for who they are.

I just had my sex reassignment surgery, and I felt this video 100%. It's like, no, I didn't go into surgery expecting it to magically fix everything, there was an objective reasoning as to why I went ahead with the proceeder... but still, in the back of my mind there was this small little bit of hope that maybe, it will change everything and make me genuinely accepted as a woman, but it does not.... and I'm not bad looking at all. There's a bit of this relief to know that I'm not alone.

Dating apps are toxic. Why would you wanna date someone too lazy or illiterate to read your profile. I've dated Trans Women... openly...found most of them to be too emotionally unstable. It's been my experience that a lot of trans women want someone to love them in spite of their being trans as opposed to because of it. Just my 2 cents.

You are stunning and just realise anyone who would reject you for being trans is not someone that is worth investing your precious time into any way.
In my honest opinion, the problem i see trans-women encounter is a lot of them(not all) are having the fantasy of finding a "straight guy" falling for them and want to forget the actually biological fact that this would turn them gay which they are not. And even if they are open to the actual concept, it isnt something they would really want to deal with in their daily life, with family and friends either. The argument is people being attracted to femininity, but the only thing is, if that is true then why would a straight guy go ahead in a relationship with a man that can pass as super feminine and look female and all vs having a real feminine female where he can build a real family with. Why would he go trough all the constraints and issues of dating a trans-women if he really has that attraction for female. So what end up happening is you have lots of people that want to have an experience and let it be that. Unfortunatelly, this puts most trans-women in that left over/ reject pile of people in quest of relationships. Thats why, I thinks if more trans-women would actually be looking for gay/bi-men, they would most likely find a real life long partner. But the problem is they arent too attracted to them because they lack the masculinity they are seeking in straight men. So, bottom line is being trans will always be super hard and with a very high risk of rejection in your quest for finding a guy.

As with most things in life, if it's meant to be, it will be. When I was young, I took rejection really hard, but one night while I was sleeping, I felt the voice of God tell me that He was rejecting them for me because they weren't right , nor worthy of my love. From that moment on I felt strong, free, and never looked back.

Nothing wrong in wanting/not wanting to date a trans. It's a personal preference. It hurts getting ghosted, but this is the go-to method for dumping people. I dump via ghosting and been dumped the same way. I am not sure if this is controversial or offensive, but if i was trans, i would disclose this from the outset. i.e people who like trans, will date trans; those who don't won't and cannot be persuaded otherwise -- why put yourself through the headache of building a relationship only to find out the person is not into it --- by the way, lots of men don't read bios.
