- PLEASE NOTE: This video was made with OLDER VERSION of the Plugy mod, where the ubers weren't correctly spawning their minions! The new patch of plugy is relatively recent and there the Uber Tristram part will look more like it does on B.Net. Unfortunately, that patch only came out when I was no longer actively making videos!
Doing the plugy ubers with kicksin spec. At the time of uploading this video, the character is only a few weeks old. It's entirely self found so that obviously limits the gear options.

@@akitoyeptho8775 Unfortunately I never got around to it. I had most of the footage captured for it but once I started working on it, some IRL stuff came up and finally my PC broke.
When I got my PC situation sorted out again, I didn't really feel like doing D2 stuff anymore. I'll get back to it some day. I've been quitting and restarting Diablo II for the past 20 years so once I feel motivated again, it's very likely that you'll see more videos.
Noticed you named your sin Kaoru. Is that a Rurouni Kenshin reference?
It is! I was re-reading the manga at the time so when I had to name this character that was the first thing that popped into my mind :D

Very interesting video, you have my subscription :) How do you prevent the monsters from attacking your mercenary?
If you get him stuck on terrain and you move far enough away from him, the game will teleport him to you. After that has happened, most of the monsters in the game won't target him anymore. I show it on the video.

Try Fleshripper Dagger. I used to play years ago. I played a kicksin to run for torches, All the time. You definitely need up'ed gore's. Perfect diamond stormshield, or a UM.
Yea Fleshripper is great and I've used it bunch of times on other kicksins when doing ubers. This was untwinked single player run however, so I had to work with what I had managed to find :)

How is it possible that in ut there are no other monsters than big3? When I come to ut there are like hundreds of other monsters and they are being resurecting by big3. Please help.
This video was recorded in an older version of plugy mod, when they had not properly implemented the Uber Tristram.
@@Sicktoid Any tip how to survive Mehisto? I think I need tgods because currently eventhough I have 75% res and 2600hp I still cant touch uber mephisto.
@@Lukasz1989 It sounds like you are getting wrecked by Mephisto's conviction aura. It will give you -125 to all of your resistances so if you only upped Lightning Res to 75, you will be at -50 against him. You can overstack your lightning res with extra charms (or wear socketed items with ORT runes). You can use Fade buff to get more resistances. If you play assassin, you can just cast it, or if not, you can use the Runeword: Treachery to pre-proc it on your character by standing in fire (and then you can equip another armor, the buff will last for a while).
Lightning Absorb will help too so you can wear those items if you have them, but make sure your resistances are also up to the snuff. If you get hit by 2000 lightning damage, it doesn't really help much if you absorb 10 of it.

He also has some pretty dangerous cold based attacks so I wouldn't completely neglect cold resistance either. Thawing Potions and Raven Frost will help with that.
