You inspired me to do a solo physical bowzon! Normal was a TalTalTal Hunter’s bow, TirTir helm and Stealth. In NM, I found a 3os Cedar bow, so I made Edge, and I also made Peace. Thorns started to struggle in Act 4, but thankfully, I found a Siege crossbow for Insight. Shenk dropped a Ko rune (!), so I made Hustle armor. In hell tower, I found a Gorgon crossbow - so now I’ll go back to farm Insight runes, and then hopefully finish hell :) I died a few times in NM (softcore) - bowzon is squishy turning corners without Valkyrie in front (extra strong extra fast archers etc.) since no shield for resistances and lower vitality due to bow requirements.

I was recently inspired by you to do some troll builds, I went with a max throw barbarian on hardcore, and it did not disappoint with my frost arrow hire
I play SSF with no rune words and let me tell you doing this without rune words was much rougher when I tried it lol. Great vid as always I genuinely think D2 would be a better game if countess only dropped runes the first time you killed her but dropped more. I really dislike how easy to get rune words replace all the random rares you find and almost all uniques - it does feel like the game functions better (albeit it's harder) when you play as if countess can't be farmed!
@@yearzer0 Oh I enjoy that too I just think d2r is literally more fun without the ability to farm the countess - and indeed peter hu (who designed the rune word system) has explicitly called out the easy availability of rune words that dominate any conceivable rare item for almost all builds at most stages of the game as a huge issue the system caused. But the crude proximal fix could just be slamming countess farming because it is a bit sad when everybody who is doing anything and knows how to play is using identical items in many slots for most of the game and got those items through hard farming one act 1 side-boss lol
fun fact if you use straft it has a fixed attackspeed so you can use the heavy crossbow with 1 tir for mana on kill and 2 tal or whatever without the shale for the good damage and straft spam
i just start to play crossbow amazon as well, currently i am using cold and fire arrow until hell, but your build give me some guidance to respect later, thank you 🙏

Hustle is a game changer, attack speed on crossbows is brutal compared to regular bows
