砂防工事の砂地に集まるコチャバネセセリ 20240728

学名: Thoressa varia
場所: 岐阜県中津川市
沢沿いに砂防工事をしている場所があり、その周辺の砂地にコチャバネセセリ（Thoressa varia）が何匹も集まって水を吸っていました。
水を吸いながら、ときどき腹を曲げたり伸ばしたりしています。先日撮影したアオバセセリ（Choaspes benjaminii）も同じような動きをしていました。
これは水を吸う時にする動きなのでしょうか？
Erosion control work was being done along the stream, and many Thoressa varia were gathering on the sandy ground there, drinking water.
While drinking water, they would occasionally bend and stretch their abdomens. The Choaspes benjaminii I filmed the other day exhibited the same behavior.
Is this a behavior they exhibit when drinking water?
