i did an inadvertent battery test: i took down the fish tank for almost two years...one year 10 months...now as i put it back up and i'm going through the box, i see the eheim is still working just fine on the same batteries i had in then! good to know!
Mine fell in the aquarium....I have a Fix!!! 1. Quickly grab it and separate parts in sink and shake water out 2. Grab paper towels and Qtips to continually shake, dab and dry 3. Continue 2 very quickly 4. Empty batteries and take off lid 5. Bury top pod in zip lock bag of Rice, make sure it is buried and rice is in open compartment and leave it for 1 day 6. Insert batteries to see of the display is okay..if it stops like mine did, I manually wound the turn mechanism over and over pushed all buttons..continued process step 4 to 6 over and over till it worked Will
Interesting. I specifically looked up a video that would show how to use those.’easy to use’ clips to attach to the back of the tank. I must have gotten a different model because there is NOTHING easy about this, there is only a picture in the booklet and no directions. Oh well.
