Mmmmmm, I think they bought this design over from a other brand because i have the same one but without the aquarium co op. But pretty smart it did went from 15 to 25 :)
If you’ve got a fish that might jump out and you’ve got one of those glass lids with a vinyl piece at the back, you could punch a hole in the vinyl and stick a funnel in, then stick the feeder on the lid and position it so that it releases the pellets right over the funnel. I have yet to try this hack, but I might when I go on vacation after COVID is over. Keep up the good work Irene! You always make the best videos!
sweetheart I cant thank you enough, those directions had me all screwed up. your directions had me squared away, my fish are back on track. thank you so much.
Rather than paying a neighbor (who knows nothing about fish) to feed my fish during vacation. I purchased this gem! This was my first of many aquarium co op purchases.
Ive gotten 4 of these from you this year. Leaving for the Vaca we been planning for in a few days. Ive done pretty extensive testing with this over the past few months. As a Tip I use the tape to hold the door as ive found it can move during rotation. Other then that this unit is great. The feature i enjoy the most is the Internal battery , This had me come back for unit 3 and 4 vs ordering off amazon or buying LFS. I really didn't want the hassle of dead batts and this unit has ran months on 1 charge!!
I use an auto feeder when I have to leave my betta for longer trips, but always had a problem with it releasing too much food. That tape trick looks like it could be the solution to my issue, thank you so much for introducing me to it.
Great video! I just received one of these auto feeders. I found the instructions very clear and easy to follow, but I'm bookmarking this in case I lose the instructions down the road. 😊
I wish there were more auto feeders, that use individual compartments opening and releasing all the contents at a time. Way easier to dose, way less prone to failure.
Would be nice if someone from aquarium co op would answer some of these questions. Would love to if there is a button to push to see what parameters feeder is set to.
I have been "out" of the hobby due to a move for about a year now. I haven't paid much attention to Co-Op vids and didn't even know this existed until I ordered one this morning, I still have two of the green ones I haven't even used. Maybe I will actually try this one!
So I’ve been mulling the fact that you cannot choose the days the feeder activates. I’m curious if you could implement a setting that would feed as soon as power is supplied. That way you could use a timer or smart plug to supply power for a minute or 30 seconds at the feed time. You could set the feet times for whatever time at whatever interval with whatever device you want. I feed every other day, and it would be good to determine Mondays are bloodworm day, but the other feed days could just be automatic.
I was also wondering about this. Yeah, I have some display tanks that only get dry food every 3rd day. I don't want them to eat every day! An option to do 48 or 72 hour intervals would be AMAZING. Or, along the line of your thinking; maybe just make the feeder a "smart device"? With Wi-Fi connectivity I would assume much greater customization could be unlocked...
This seems like a great option when we go away. But since the container holding the food is open, has anyone had an issue with the food attracting bugs?

Excellent! Thank you so much for A REALLY WELL DONE instructional video! You covered everything perfectly.
Thanks for the video, much easier to follow you programming it than reading the little pamphlet!

Thanks for this. Looks like a good option, with lots of programmable features.

Thank you Irene!! Your video was extremely helpful. You rock!!
Is there a button u can push to check the time you set for autofeed?
Great info. I just ordered this
Super helpful. Thanks! If it isn't already, this should get linked to the item in the store.

Is it possible to program it to feed at longer intervals? Like 48hrs or 72hrs?
Thanks, that was very helpful and enjoyable!
Thanks, great instructions 👍

Hi Fish People! 😁🐟
Irene is a godsend
What other auto feeder would recommend as the aquarium co op products don't ship to outside of the us.
Can you use this for flake food
how would you do like every 2 days
Any suggestions on how to set this up for a tank with glass lids and fish that like to jump a lot?
@@OregonOutdoorsChris thanks that should work for me

If you use the sticker is it in that place forever? Also if you stick it on does part of it come off so you can charge it?
How to set it up to feed once every 48h?
Thank you
I normally get a notification as soon as a video releases. Why did TH-cam not want me to watch this?
We've been turning off notifications on product-focused videos so that they won't bug people who just want the Jimmy-edited videos. :)
deuce bigalo wouldnt have needed a movie with this
I would buy one, If I could. But.. I dont live in the Us :,(
