To you guys with the 2000 and 2002 Maxima's, UPGRADE to Atleast the 2009-2014 Generation, you Won't be disappointed, I'm surely not. I Loved my 2001, But i Really Love my 2014 !!!

I don't think the CVT sucks. The Maxima has been my most powerful car so far. 0-60 under 6 seconds is no joke. And I'm averaging 25mpg. Lol I love my Maxima.

It is still a front wheel drive because it works great, gets high gas mileage. Also, AWD and rear wheel drive are power robbers. Nissan wants maximum mpg out of its 300 hp Maxima. Best in class and then some.

Since Nissan is shutting down the q70 I surely hope to God they invest in the maximal as the luxury sport brand it needs to be, because I feel they have ignore this beautiful badge.

I am on an 8th gen maxima group and I see a good amount of complaints on this car from cvt to electrical issues. These cars are cheaply made and expensive.
I had a Maxima. Car started falling apart after 100k miles and it finally died at 150k. Honestly pretty sad. Beautiful car, fast, but I will never buy one again.
Nice sporty look car if only they have more up grades on the interior look more carbon fiber on the dashboard and the leather seats like the Nissan kicks those bose speaks on the head rest now that is cool.

Nissan make great cars. My car is a 1991 Maxima and it still goes well. I don’t think I will see a 2020 Maxima down here in NZ, sad.

Maxima has been on a FWD setup for the last 30 years or more. If you want RWD and more horsepower, you must move up to Infiniti.
