Great video, Grady. Because I wanted to drive my Suboverland home in comfort, I rented a small SUV and hauled all my stuff with me. Fridge, power station, clothing, etc. I bought the base model, so none of those things came with my rig. Grady and Gus helped me transfer my fridge since it was full. So that's an option for others who choose the base model. I drove 1700 miles one way to get my Suboverland and 1700 miles back home, and I'm so happy I did. I love my ride. It's almost done being built out.

This whole concept for your company is so cool, don't know what the future brings but probably a year before I retire you will be hearing from me, please keep up your great work. Thanks!

Grady fantastic video- totally organized and clear. I can’t wait to pick up my Suboverlander. I enjoyed the joke you told , “do you really do this for a living.” I laughed so much .
I didn’t know you were a dealer and gave us a temporary plate for 30 days, didn’t know you will pick up customers from twin falls air with new Suboverlander.
    Fantastic helpful information.
Just a ton of great information.
    Talk soon
    Peter

I think one of these will be my next daily driver/full time living space. My Sienna has a year or two left in her, but I really like what you guys are doing here.

Great, well done, like all that you do. We've communicated about you doing my 94 3/4 ton diesel Burb. Maybe you could do a short update on the process for doing a customer's own rig? It'd be short I'm sure.

Make the most of your money by sticking to the 3/4 platform. More durable and better future resale value.

Also harder to find in the year range they work with.

Thanks for the video. Kinda thought you could only purchase the vehicle and not the conversion. I'll be visiting your website. My burban only needs interior, solar, and leveling kit. I'll be reaching out very soon.

Thanks for the description of the process. Is the Pre-Build checklist available to check out before I commit?

    • @freedomdove

I was provided the list before I signed the paperwork and paid them.

Sorry, I replied before I watched the video. I was talking about a different list than what Grady is referencing. My process was a little different because I was specifically looking for a certain Suburban. I didn't go through the pre-build checklist, per say. I told them exactly what I was looking for in an email and they found the right Suburban for my needs.

Does this process apply to Base models as well, since there is no lengthy build taking place? Was hoping you’d cranking more of those out for purchase sooner than 1 year away.

Okay I'm a little confused. I just watched another video of yours. BTW it's why I was so interested. You were explaining how you drive these vehicles for months!!! It doesn't sound like you're doing that with what you're explaining here at all? So did you quit doing it that way? Thanks in advance

    • @suboverland
      @suboverland  2 ปีที่แล้ว

No we still drive each vehicle we source for months. Nothing has changed.

I bought a 99 Cadillac escalade 4wd. Can the center console be removed so the fridge can be inserted?? I started to take it apart but there are some electric components and the cd changer thing. 😖
