This is such a much needed message in 2023, but also for every age. From each of the Ligonier Fellows I learn a great deal. In addition to better means of expounding certain truths. From each one, I pick up particular delivery tips: I suppose I've always been an imitator, beginning with impersonations of my pastor at 10 years old. Robert Godfrey is no exception in that regard. Thank God for all of the Ligoniers teachers and preachers which the Lord has raised up to be such a tremendous blessing to the ecclesia spanning several generations already. And what an apt passage Ephesians 4: 9-16 is to lead our thinking about ourselves and how each of us fit into the body of Christ. I suppose I look to these men as the apex minds who help to exposit sound doctrine and the will of Christ for His church...absolutely indespensable to me as a Christ imitator and wanna-be preacher who entered his personal calling (to preach) about 35 years too late. Isn't life filled with "if-onlys"?
