    I've got a friend
    Closer than a brother
    There is no judgement
    Oh, how He loves me
    I've got a friend
    And He is my strength
    He is my portion
    With me in the valley
    With me in the fire
    With me in the storm
    Let all my life testify
    Hallelujah
    We are not alone
    God really loves us
    God really loves us
    Hallelujah
    Oh, praise my soul
    God really loves us
    God really loves us
    His mercy's enough
    His grace is sufficient
    So come if you're needing
    Forgiveness or healing
    His mercy's enough…

    The Holy Spirit.
    You know that:
    1. the HOLY SPIRIT IS INSIDE Jesus ("filled with the Holy Spirit...")
    2. ONLY TWO BLASPHEMIES EXIST ("Whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him. But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven.")
    3. On that occasion Jesus states that the Holy Spirit is MORE IMPORTANT than Him ("...shall not be forgiven.")
    4. the Holy Spirit is.....A SPIRIT
    5. Jesus states that the Father is GREATER than Him ("...to my Father who is greater than I am")
    6. Jesus states that the Father is a SPIRIT ("God is a spirit" Jn. 4:23,24)
    7. Jesus states that ONLY THE FATHER is inside Him ("I am not ALONE because the Father is with me").
Who is the Holy Spirit ?

Please take a large portion of Scripture, not just a view. Proof texting is so very easy. It’s important to look at an entire book to explain the parts in light of the whole.

A very large portion of Scripture indeed: four gospels. The trinity is NOWHERE in the scripture. If the trinity were true, then Jesus would confirm in four gospels "I am in a trinity with Father and Holy Spirit". It NEVER happens. On the contrary, Jesus crystal clear states "I am only with the Father". PERIOD. The Father is in the particular form of a Spirit (Jn. 4:23,24). You do not have a first Spirit "1. the Father who is a spirit" and a second Spirit "2. the Holy Spirit", they are the same ONE. He is either called "Holy Father" or "Holy Spirit" by Jesus. Here they are EQUIVALENT names. That Spirit was responsible for Mary's pregnancy, helped Jesus in his journey through the desert and later when speaking.
Further, you may want to consider also the Father who is NOT in the form of a Spirit. However nobody ever saw Him, nobody knew Him, only the Son did it (in the past).

wow, I'm surprised RC Sproul was one of the ones that spread this incorrect information.. It's not something huge, but I'm just surprised.

Jesus Christ was born into His Pre-existence of interactions between God, also known as Yesh, and the Goddess, also known as Barbelo. One was the "Unknown" and the other was the "Silence", similar yet different.
Their interactions were like those of two galaxies merging, spinning and merging, sometimes passing through each other, dancing and mixing. From these interactions, Jesus Christ was born, known at the time of "Autogenes", which means Self-Generated One.
Alongside Jesus, two other facets of God were born, Jehovah and the Holy Spirit, these three being the Trinity of Christianity, with each being one third of the other and being three facets of the Ineffable Father, that together reveal the One and True God.
"My Son, you are the reason for my pride. You are my beloved Son, who only brings me joy. This battle against evil will be difficult, but remember that I and Your Father will be by your side at all times. Keep on shining, my precious Son. Keep shining and guiding humanity to the path of light. As you have done since the beginning of time."
    - Barbelo for Jesus at His Baptism.

[YHWH or LORD "Yahweh", that ancient serpent called the Devil and Satan (from Genesis 2), accepts a child/virgin sacrifice where a father literally slaughters his own daughter]:
(not to be confused with God "Elohim" or Spirit of God "Ruach Elohim" from Genesis 1)
      Judges 11
      Names of God Bible
      Jephthah’s Vow
29 Then the RUACH YAHWEH came over Jephthah. Jephthah went through Gilead, Manasseh, and Mizpah in Gilead to gather an army. From Mizpah in Gilead Jephthah went to attack Ammon.
30 Jephthah made a vow to YAHWEH. He said, “If you will really hand Ammon over to me, 31 then whatever comes out of the doors of my house to meet me when I return safely from Ammon will belong to YAHWEH. I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.”
32 So Jephthah went to fight against Ammon. YAHWEH handed the people of Ammon over to him. 33 He defeated them from Aroer to Minnith and on to Abel Keramim, 20 cities in all. It was a decisive defeat. So the Ammonites were crushed by the people of Israel.
34 When Jephthah went to his home in Mizpah, he saw his daughter coming out to meet him. She was dancing with tambourines in her hands. She was his only child. Jephthah had no other sons or daughters. 35 When he saw her, he tore his clothes in grief and said, “Oh no, Daughter! You’ve brought me to my knees! What disaster you’ve brought me! I made a foolish promise to YAHWEH. Now I can’t break it.”
36 She said to him, “Father, you made a promise to YAHWEH. Do to me whatever you promised since YAHWEH has punished your enemy Ammon.” 37 Then she said to her father, “Do me a favor. Give me two months for my friends and me to walk in the mountains and mourn that I will never have an opportunity to get married.”
38 “Go!” he said, and he sent her off for two months. She and her friends went to the mountains, and she cried about never being able to get married. 39 At the end of those two months she came back to her father. He did to her what he had vowed, and she never had a husband. So the custom began in Israel 40 that for four days every year the girls in Israel would go out to sing the praises of the daughter of Jephthah, the man from Gilead.

@@ready1fire1aim1 So I do see what the text says, and it doesn't actually say the man sacrificed his daughter. However, he may very well have sacrificed his daughter to the only true God, because it says, "he did to her what he had vowed", but the distinction you're making here is still a lie.
So does this confusion of yours stem from where Jesus tells the Pharisees, "you are of your father the devil?", And the only reason I ask is because this seems to be a fairly common misunderstanding to some people. YHVH, Elohim, God, LORD, are the same. He is the one that gave the law to Moses, and this is the law that the Pharisees were trying to obey. They were not taking care of the poor, and widows, and fatherless though. "They honour me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me".
What you need to do is study the Old Testament and see exactly how patient God was with the children of Israel. Does God do some things that are hard to accept? Yeah. But He is God, and we're not. His ways are higher than our ways. Study the Old Testament, and stop taking other people's word for it because I know you didn't come up with this heresy by yourself. Somebody lied to you.

So it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
THE TRINITY DOCTRINE IS A LIE...The Spirit is of Christ and of God...no where in the whole Scriptures is He called God the Holy Spirit...He is always the Spirit of God...

Those who challenge the idea that the Holy Spirit is God suggest that the Holy Spirit may simply be an impersonal force of some kind, a source of power controlled by God but not fully a person Himself. Others suggest that perhaps the Holy Spirit is just another name for Jesus, in spirit form, apart from His body.
Neither of these ideas lines up with what the Bible actually says about the Holy Spirit, though. The Bible describes the Holy Spirit as a person who has been present with the Father and the Son since before time began. The Spirit is integral to all of the things that God is described as doing in the Bible.
The Spirit of God was present at and involved in creation (Genesis 1:2; Psalm 33:6). The Holy Spirit moved the prophets of God with the words of God (2 Peter 1:21). The bodies of those in Christ are described as temples of God because the Holy Spirit is in us (1 Corinthians 6:19). Jesus was clear that to be “born again,” to become a Christian, one must be born “of the Spirit” (John 3:5).
One of the most convincing statements in the Bible about the Holy Spirit being God is found in Acts 5. When Ananias lied about the price of a piece of property, Peter said that Satan had filled Ananias’s heart to “lie to the Holy Spirit” (Acts 5:3) and concluded by saying that Ananias had “lied to God” (verse 4). Peter reveals that the Holy Spirit is God. Lying to the Holy Spirit is lying to God.
5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land?
5:4 Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.
5:5 And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things.
Please Note: Ananias literally DIED for lying to the Holy Spirit (GOD).
Jesus told His disciples that the Holy Spirit, the Helper, was different from Himself. The Father would send the Helper, the Spirit of truth, after Christ departed. The Spirit would speak through the disciples about Jesus (John 14:25-26; 15:26-27; 16:7-15). All three Persons Jesus mentions-Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-are God while being distinct from each other within the Trinity.
The three members of the Trinity show up, together yet distinct, at Jesus’ baptism. As Jesus comes up from the water, the Spirit descends on Him like a dove while the voice of the Father is heard from heaven saying that He is pleased with His beloved Son (Mark 1:10-11).
Finally, the Bible describes the Holy Spirit as a person, not a mere force. He can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30). He has a will (1 Corinthians 12:4-7). He uses His mind to search the deep things of God (1 Corinthians 2:10). And He has fellowship with believers (2 Corinthians 13:14). Clearly, the Spirit is a person, just as the Father and the Son are persons.
Indeed, the Bible is unequivocal that the Holy Spirit is, in fact, God, just as Jesus Christ and the Father are God.
      1 John
5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
