As you make your way to the house reef, you will be greeted by an array of colorful fish darting through the crystal-clear waters. The reef at Park Hyatt Maldives Hadahaa is home to over 200 species of marine life, including blacktip reef sharks, eagle rays, turtles and, of course, millions of fishes. As you snorkel through the coral gardens, you'll feel as though you've entered a world of wonder and magic, where schools of fish surround you, and you can see the colorful corals and sea creatures up close. We were particularly impressed by the beauty of the reef itself. Even though it is not the fishiest reef we've seen, snorkeling at Park Hyatt Maldives is definitely in our favorites given the beauty of the corals.
The house reef at Park Hyatt Maldives is very easily accessible and you can definitely snorkel 360° around the island, which should take you around 2h30min, according to how fast of a swimmer you are. A good thing about the reef at Park Hyatt Maldives is that you can really snorkel it at any time of the day which is not the case at many other Maldivian resorts. The resort also offers guided snorkeling tours with expert marine biologists, who will take you on an underwater adventure, pointing out different species of fish and corals and sharing their knowledge of the ocean's ecosystem.

Thank you for your comment :) You do not need to freedive when snorkeling. I like it and the views are a bit different, but you can fully enjoy the reef just while snorkeling above it :)
