  • Maldives Deep South Atolls Diving Expedition was organized by Marine Megafauna Foundation: marinemegafauna.org
    We spent 10 days/11 nights on board of the very specious and contemporary 40m MV Emperor Serenity. During the 8 days of diving, we encountered a variety of shark species including grey reef, white tip, tiger, spinner, and even three magnificent whale sharks. We saw two majestic manta rays and the elusive marlin fish, as well as the graceful eagle rays. The coral reef system was very healthy, with many friendly turtles.
    We hope you enjoyed this underwater journey to the Maldives Deep South Atolls! If you did, we would love to hear from you in the COMMENTS to this video. Your feedback and thoughts are important to us and help us create even more exciting travel videos.

    Amazing video! I had been in Maldive North and central Atolls... I was a bit disappointed... was expecting more! It seems the south is much better!

      Thank you, Fiona. Our trip was in Deep South. What part of Maldives are you going to? We are now on our way to West Papua.

      My liveaboard is central but I am thinking of adding on a couple of days in the south at the end of the trip.
      Enjoy West Papua. I have just arrived in the Solomon Islands for a 10 day liveaboard.
      PS I’m still looking forward to seeing the Palau video!!

    What's the minimum for a liveaboard dive like yours? thank you。

    • @DiversLens
      @DiversLens  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you’re asking about the minimum number of dives, I would suggest 50 as absolute minimum, 100 would be better, plus Advance Open Water certification.

      @@DiversLens Lots of sharks, what's the name of this dive site? Is it the Maldives Shennan route?

    • @DiversLens
