But this is more a statement of allowing kingdoms to fall so greater ones may rise rather than holding on to anything eternal because eternity equals stagnation.

@@martonk yeah it's more like destroying EVERYTHING without the possibility of returning. It's the great "Fuck you" to every outer god in the universe, with the Land of Shadow Potentially being spared.
After doing Hyettas questline, I immediately went to grab the merchants set, and gave myself a full on frenzy build, along with Vykes spear. I will never go back.

I still wonder what the point of Elden Ring was. Dark Souls, was the beginning of Soulsborne games, and its point was "Don't you dare go hollow." no matter how hard or impossible it may seem, don't give up. Bloodborne is a bit weird one, its more convuluted, but I believe its to ascend above relying on crutches, bloodlust, faith, logic, and simply rely on yourself, your own morals and values, self thinking, and to always try to love. Elden Ring was also more convuluted, you are a lowly Tarnished tasked by Marika's Grace to ascend the throne. As you journey through the lands between you come across so many hurtful faces, but friendly ones too. You learn of so many tales and legends, fight against dragons and demigods, you learn about the tragedy and despair thar caused for the Frenzied Flame to exist, the Rot that festered deep within the lands and now grows ever so strongly in the Caelid Wilds, the misbegotten, the banished omens, you may come across everything in the Lands Between. And from all of that you are given a choice, this time its not simply "let life go on" or "let life perish" but you can also choose how it may go on. Will it abandon the path of gold and awaken in the Age of Stars, will it stay in this golden path and abandon the flimsy gods, will it allow for Death and have those who die live in it, will you curse it all and their children too, and their children's forever true. Or through immense despair and tragedy, will you simply just burn it all. Burn it all down.
Especially with the DLC and more lore implications out now, I think it is about everyone influencing each others life and generational trauma being passed down, and you, not knowing all the details, navigating your way through it and living your own live, again in turn affecting others.
Elden's Point is responsibility. It's the first time you become the Lord, a ruler. Not some entity that dies and leaves the world of others. Once you win the world is yours to rule and it is also your responsibility.
The point is seeing the world and choosing an oder for it. Rannis order is leaving the world alone and fucking off to space. The other ones leaving the foudnations as is, but fixing a flaw in the order. While the Frenzied Flame is decising that the world is so shit you want it destroyed.
People have speculated that Elden ring is what causes all the other souls games I don't remember what the video is called but there is some out there
0:49 is materpiece, shabriri's soothing voice and that music in background. I love how you highlighted this moment. We play whole game focused on collecting runes to restore the world in the way it used to be but meeting him that late in the game (In my playthrought I met him after 50 hours and never progressed hyetta quest) when he suggests you to do the opposite as others say. Makes you think about your purpose why to save corrupted world...

And here comes guy with calm voice and is very straight to the point - is your sacrify worth live of innocent human? Spare that girl..

I like how people get the frenzied ending without sacrificing melina so she can bite them in the ass later (At least that's how these videos go)
I admit I wanted to get different cutscenes (My Prophet sets herself on fire + "" post credit"") to see what changed from the other endings. 👀 I sacrificed Melina the other 6 times anyway 💀

The two fingers and three fingers are just two sides of the same God. And Elder God born during the Era of the Great Tree, the time of Godfrey’s reign. When the Crucible was a Primordial, Living Elder being of raw power and living energy. All that changed when the Elden Beast came to the Lands Between, the Gloam Eyes Queen struck down the crucible to create the Godskins. This causing the first Great War against lleyendel that is forgotten for good reason. This caused the hand of the crucible to split in two,asking way for a new God to reign. Enter the Elden Beast, and the disruption of the old ways. The merchants shunned and locked away, The Crucible Knights banished, the Cult of the Serpent forgotten and forbidden, and the Godskins slaughtered. Ushering a new era, and leading to the Shattering.
And yes, this is all I game lore but you actually gotta look for it

melina’s suffering speech works only when it is applied to anywhere except the lands between, marika being molded by trauma, seeking help from the fingers for her order, only for said fingers to be broken from the start, the order is fucked from the start, even ranni’s ending the common men will be left the fend the stars themselves, have they not endured enough?

Beautiful work, afer this video i studied all endings, and this is ending is for fools and devils, "a lie will remain a lie", "You'd die for the cause, but you won't fight for one". Why i say that? In this ending you destroyed everything, shabriri steals your body, all souls are irreversible melted into one big blob spirit, no more suffering, indivoduals and progress, end of everything what humanity could ever do.
Which ending is the best one from my point? Ranni ending, the parasite is chased away for some time ( even if only elden beast is here ) and the lands between has time to prepare to kill the parasite, whatever needs to be done. Free will, free souls.Frenzied flame is more tempting the more nihilist you are. Choose wisely. They're counting on you.

im so glad the dlc added Midra, the frenzied flame is the most interesting thing in the game and a Frenzy Flame boss was all we needed to top it off.
@@brandonperez8133 I'm glad as well! The Abyssal Woods are one of my favorite locations ever! The creepy messages, the stealth sections... all created the perfect horror atmosphere I've always wanted for a Frenzied Flame area.

Hi, I cam back cus I'm addicted to this edit. I gotta say, whichever simp decided to replace Kale with Hyetta... L bro... what a loss. Kale's lines were godlike. Hyetta would've been more memorable if her screams were more painful and visceral. But thats just my opinion.

Getting manipulated by a literal incarnation of evil who is willing to use anyone as stepping stones to achive his goals. No, it is not the best ending. The main basis of souls game is to not give up and you.... Just gave up on everything that led to life. It is the most edgy ending that teenagers and edgy adults choose to feel different than others. A well thought ending? Yeah definitely but not justifable and something to be proud of.

How? Is not like "they were bad they need to suffer" but it's about finding that life itself is painful and all the bad comes because we are all divided and different. The best thing in this case would be to reunite everything and peaceful letting go the old order of things, wouldnt it? Frenzied flame only takes life, it dosnt make them suffer anymore.
