That “For Gaming” tag is such a clickbait This does not even elaborate on the frequency range which these premium headphones offer. Might just be a “Comfortable” headphone review to be honest
Can I ask you for an opinion between two headsets that you have tried? I'm considering the dt700 and the epos h6 pro, and I'm kind of undecided between the two. I'm supposed to use them for gaming and PC music, the main features I'm interested in (aside from sound quality) are comfort and ability to isolate from noise, which one would you recommend?
havent tried beyerdynamics, but H6 pro closed sound is pretty subpar for shooters and DEFINITELY not good for music. isolation and comfort is great (if your OK with quite strong clamping force)
Hey mate, looking at buying some new wireless gaming headphones. Is your recommendation still arctis 9 Pro wireless, or is there something better around? Caveat for me is I have large ears, currently have atctis 7 that are on the way out, but to fit comfortably I had to buy some wicked cushion ear cups as the standard ones weren't deep enough for me. I see you also recommend virtuoso XT but I'm concerned they won't fit my ears. Also love the dual battery of arctis and can't find anything else with that same feature

I refuse to buy anything that has to do with Apple, it is well known that all Apple products are overpriced and underperforming crap, just the thought makes me vomit and the Schiit products are impossible to get hold of as a European, or rather as a Scandinavian person.
@@miniblasan5717 Well everything else is overpriced, not the dongle though. You can see the measurements on audiosciencereview that it measures just as well as 100 dollar dacs for only 10 bucks. Even audiophiles acknowledge this, many have used apple dac along with a dedicated amp. Please set aside you apple bias for now as THIS is the only product they have that's literally not overpriced
@@aqilardi5266 When it comes to Apple, I neither can nor want to put aside my opinions about their worthless products.
Know far too many people who have had any kind of Apple product and it has been proven thousands if not millions of times that their products are not worth a single penny and break as soon as you happen to drop the product on a pillow.
So if you can not come up with a tip other than Apple, feel free to keep that tip to yourself.
Hello! I'm a newbie at gaming headphones and planning to have an upgrade. Can you give a suggestion of a good quality in terms of sound in music/hd movies and gaming especially? I am currently using HyperX Cloud 2.
Thanks in advance! Cheers!
Love your videos
thank you so much
I've heard a lot of people having problems with the cables n the foam cussion on dt700's. Have many people had this problem?
Can you maybe do a review on the At2020 usb? I’ve been thinking about getting it
no plans
I’m looking for sound separation and excellent positional awareness (gun shots) which does the deed. Tygr300,mmx100,sennhpc38,hyperx cloud2,artics3,astroA40 none are any good.
Did u find any headsets that can
DT 700 pro X - OR - Audeze Maxwell ?
what did u choose?

I Love the video! Btw would u say these are the best headphones under the prize of ~330 dollars? "I Will mostly play games and sometimes listen to music with them".
And how Long would u think these headphones would last for if i Take care of Them like a baby when im not using them?
My brothers are recomending me the HD 600 Sennheiser, but personally i like the looks of the dt 700 pro x but the quality matters the most for me and the sustainability.
I understand if u can't answer this so i would be really happy even if some1 of the viewers responded, have a nice Day evry1.
I have found out something strange when i looked Up the graph on dt pro x is it bad enough to not buy it? Or is it false? I dont know much about headphones so could some1 tell me? Thx.
Hi man Nice review! Hi, I have arctis pro wireles headphones but I use them on the wire with go xlr. Do you think 900/700 pro x sounds better? Thx
yes, if paired with a nice amp/dac

for the price there is the penrose that you praised the sound so much, but i have to notice that in the last few videos you don't use it as a comparison, is penrose no longer "worth it" to compare? and comparing with the last epos h6pro video? Great video congratulations

Hey Techne, what would you say is the best headphones for the $250AUD price point for gaming?
Just seen the prices. Holy crap
What's up, these DT 700 Pro X have to be burned in BEFORE?, if so, how long would I have to burned in them?, any recommendations? ..... thanks and GREETINGS!
Im new to all this, so do you connect the dac or amp to the ps5 to get the quality you did on the PC?
Hi, could you help me a bit? I"m trying to choose between Dt 990 pro, Dt 900 pro x and Epos h6 pro. I'm mostly an R6 player. Do you have any suggestions?
That “For Gaming” tag is such a clickbait
This does not even elaborate on the frequency range which these premium headphones offer. Might just be a “Comfortable” headphone review to be honest
well they weren't comfortable
Can I ask you for an opinion between two headsets that you have tried?
I'm considering the dt700 and the epos h6 pro, and I'm kind of undecided between the two. I'm supposed to use them for gaming and PC music, the main features I'm interested in (aside from sound quality) are comfort and ability to isolate from noise, which one would you recommend?
havent tried beyerdynamics, but H6 pro closed sound is pretty subpar for shooters and DEFINITELY not good for music. isolation and comfort is great (if your OK with quite strong clamping force)
are you going to do the beyerdynamic mmx 100 & 150 for review? Edit: Oh sorry didn’t realize someone already asked. His answer was yes
See if you can give the Epos GSP600s a try. There are new EPOS models out with same specs.
@@blesner thanks for the info haven't looked much into the epos headsets will have a look
Audeze penrose :)
@@ApacheRambo ended up getting astro a50, I wrote off the audeze as everyone said clamping force was too high, I have a big head and wouldn't of been able to deal with that. Shame though heard good things about them other than that
@@paulk3198 yea the clamping force is a bit much, I have a fairly normal head size and I do still feel it a bit. The bass in a little underwhelming for gaming as well ( had to eq them slightly after ) but I’m still happy with the tightness of the sound. I’ve been looking into other headphones for music and what not and if the A50s don’t do it for you I would look into beherdynamic as they’re another reputable audio company that offers quite a bit for the price.
i would like some feedback on the 900 pro x. it doesnt work like people say it does. its just has bad audio
Can you review the Sivga SV021 Robin? It seems to be a killer deal for $150.
Hello do you think dt 900 pro x will work well with my go xlr mini? Thanks man ❤
If people have an issue with a non audiophile reviewing audiophile headphones why are you even here this is a gaming centered channel if you want an audiophile take go watch one
Techne I’m curious on your take of the Beyerdynamic Tygr 300 R
haven't used them
The circular foam pads over the driver are there to reduce and tame the MURDEROUS SCREECHING BEYER TREBLE, main reason many steared clear of Beyers. These foam pads made their debut with the Tygr 300R and is the main reason I got the TYGR 300R over the DT 1990 Pro as I am sensitive to highs and bright headphones. Finally I can like beyer sound signature now that they solve the harsh treble. But I think the 900 Pro X is still brighter than the Tygr 300R, which is a warmer, fun headphone, also easier to drive at just 32 ohm. Tygr 300R cost 180$ if bough directly from beyerdynamic website, no stupid bundle with the FOX mic so better value gaming wise vs 300$ for the Pro X.
I just bought 900 pro x, but I don´t feel the positional audio so great. Should I buy any extra equipment or software? what do you think?
try creative g6 without sbx profile
What dac/amp stack did you use with these?
Most likely go xlr mini or the goxlr full size
How would I be able to use the gc7 on the Xbox series x or any Dac or amp that would work ?
How about comparing with HD560s? Do I need to buy DT 700 again?
which would u recommend, dt 770 pro, or audio technica m50x?
How is the 900x pro compared to the tygr 300r's? And wich would you prefer?
never used the 300r
Would really love to see a review of them by you😉
How are these compared to Astro A50? I make music and game so I’m curious if these are a good middle ground for both?
Are both of these loud enough for series S/X i had the dt770 pro 80 ohms and they wasnt as loud as i would have liked
Do u recommend hifiman re800 gold for gaming and music :))
DT 900 Pro X compared to EPOS H6Pro Open-back, which has better natural sound quality?
900 pro x (if used with an amp) on console the epos
Hey techne, if i bought the 900 pro x and just plugged them into my pc for gaming would they be any good or would i need to buy a dac, I currently rock the Logitech g pro wireless. Would these be better for gaming than the gpro wireless?
they will work. as for the 900's I personally am not a fan of open back headsets for gaming. will they be better than the gpro, well I love wireless. as for sound it's different, much more natural with the 900's not as pushy as the gpro.
You are by far the best headphone reviewer out there!!
usually i use mine beyerdynamic headphone by streching out the headband and now it almost feels like very very low clamping pressure over my head, can it be done with these? not sure about the plastic headband they have now!
Im playing pubg with them , footsteps sound less, other things just normal , get an hyperx s revolver for half the

Can you please make review on the beyerdinamic mmx150 mmx100 mmx300
yes

I wanted to connect those to my XBOX controller, but you convinced me to pass on 'em, thanks!
I'm looking for a proper headphones for my XBOX gaming. I have the Audeze Penrose and they're so...meh. I wanted something really high end, with a lot of oomph, but I can't seem to find one
What did you choose?
The real question is… Corsair HS80 or Razer black shark V2 pro? And yes I know the video is coming lol
If u care about the mic quality then go with the Corshairs. But if u prefer build quality I’d go with the Blacksharks. Also the blacksharks have a 3.5mm Jack just incase u wanted to use it in another device like your phone or an Xbox. Something the corshairs don’t have.
Compared with the GSP 600?
Would you say you prefer these two for FPS gaming over the Arctis 7 wireless?
if paired with a nice amp yes

Nope, still you need dac.

Should i burn it or no please?
THank you!
Short answer is yes or at least it should be
Great review, kinda late comment but i really want to hear your thoughts on mu question and i really would be greatfull if you can answer.
I heard that its good to use these headphones with amp/dac especially on console. But i am going to use it on my pc and i have really good motherboard which is Asus Z790 strix(current latest gen) would i really need an extra amp/dac even on this mobo?
That sound like they are very much like the DT 880s.
For games like warzone and FPS shooters how do these pair up against say the astro a50?
Are they really that much better for hearing footsteps
They are not. I'm now owning a pair of DT 700 Pro X and switched from a pair of HyperX Cloud Alpha. I'm mostly playing Hunt Showdown and can't tell any difference at all. But that doesn't mean i'm not satisfied with my beyerdynamics. I love hearing music with them.. it's a pure joy!

Techne cancelled my 2 comments so far under this video.
Granted, first comment was a bit,,,angry. Second, not really.
In it, I suggested that people considering purchase of those high end studio headphones should not be relying only on techne review and should look up channels that specialize in audio and audiophile equipment like Z reviews for example.
The fact that my comments were removed twice...speaks on itself. Take it or leave it.
