It’s a nice when you know your bikes so well and exactly how it starts. I like when you said I used to have this so dialled ,you just find that spot for every different bike. Mine is three cranks of the gas full choke. It start every time. No kicking 😂😂
So nice to see a thumper back from the 70s. My eldest brother had an XT 500 Enduro which is when I actually tested & passed the riding test for my M1 license. Then he allowed me to ride it to high school, work or wherever as long as I can start it and ride in a safe manner & the tank was always full of gas. The compression kick was something and grateful for it to have the release lever. Then he switched the tank to a desert tank 🤔 then rode it longer on the road or off the dirt side of roadsides. Btw, I have his DT2 MX 250 that needs to be rebuilt & restored when time permits me to when I retire next year or so. To see her start the beast... Ride on girl! Much respect to you for not giving up to start it with lots of kicks. There were times that I'd push start it in 2nd gear out of the driveway🥵🫠
Really shows how well older bikes were built!
