Camino Frances:Day 17: Carrion de los Condes to Ledigos

Long flat walk this morning, 10 miles before arriving at the nearest village. Walking into the café, I was greeted by the owner saying "you need banana cake" how did she know, that was just what I needed. I loved this walk, people were taking time for themselves, we were happy walking in our own company. As the summer ended however, Aj and I were finding campsites were closing and having to find places to park up overnight that would be okay with local people. We were reassured by local council workers that it was okay and felt comfortable and safe with our park ups in the campervan
