These look fabulous paints. I bought a Paul Rubens palette of pans last year, and although they're not professional grade, the colours are really deep and vibrant, and we're also a great price. Although I'd love this set, I currently couldn't justify buying another 24 or 36 tubes! Great to see and hear an unbiased opinion, so thanks Darren.
Cheers Simon, great to hear your current set is doing well. These are way better than those usual powdery/opaque beginner sets you find at craft stores. I can't tell the difference between them and my other brands, but I'll keep you updated on how they perform long term. -Darren
@@WatercolourMentor I've got a decent selection of tubes, WN Cotman & Pro, DS and the odd Schminke, and although I love a bargain, if I buy another 24 tubes, it would keep me going for 5 years! They do look good though....maybe put them on my Christmas list...
Great video! What watercolor sketchbook are you using? It looks like it took everything really well and if you mentioned it and I missed it sorry. I did have to let the did in and out so it could have been said then. If so sorry. 😂
I wasn't paid anything to create this video. The Amazon affiliate link earns me a small commision as mentioned. It's a decent set, was surprised with the quality.

Yeah I have way too many as well and most of them are too similar for me to tell the difference. I like granulating paints though.

22:04 is it to be expected that the colour will be so much lighter when it dries?
Noticeably lighter! But not a great deal.
14:39 what brush are you using please (brand, size, fibre type)?
Those are the meeden squirrel brushes + some generic synthetic ones
How much did China pay you for this "recommendation"?
