What I've seen is most taco owners will do a 6in lift with 35's and it does amazing work! Waiting for the new 24 taco to release and will get a trd off road next year

more or less. toyota dominates the mid sized space. they would own it with a solid axel entry, especially with a manual 4x4 model.

The most hardcore wheelers I've seen wheeling in Death Valley heat are Jeeps driven by old dudes rigs caked in dirt. Toyota fanboys hang out in Alabama Hills rigs lightly dusty packed down with all kinds of gear that's only for show (Instagram models).

I have owned a 2021 wrangler Willys and i currently own a 2020 tacoma TRD Off-Road. This is what i got from owning both. They are both a great choice regardless of what you choose and you really cant go wrong with either. It really just depends on your needs and wants, once you figure that out then go for the vehicle that fits those the best.
Jeep is great man and i think the seating position is a bit more comfortable than the tacoma but the tacoma handles much better and is much quieter in my experience. i do feel as if the tacoma is more sturdy and gives me more of a safer feel than the jeep. Depending on what model you get, the Tacoma does have an okay interior as well as the jeep but the tacoma does offer more features interior wise and keep in mind the models i had so it really depends on the trim and packages you get.
Im an interior junkie and definitely prefer the Tacomas interior as well, the seats just aren't as comfortable as the wrangler. You also gotta keep in mind interior space vs a truck bed. The jeep has more interior space and you could even sleep in it. I do like the headlights of the jeep but i dont think that should be the biggest worry when buying a car.
All this to say is, look at what you what and need on a daily basis on and off road, Both offer a great experience in their own way its up to you on what you deem is needed for your daily driving pleasure. Not gonna lie and say that you probably would get more for your money in the tacoma.
ultimately i decided to sell the jeep and buy the tacoma for the truck bed versatility, off-road and interior features for the money, a quieter interior, and a better foundation for overlanding since i want to put a rack on the bed and but a tent on it.

I believe that an honest revision is necessary. First off Jeep is no longer really a Jeep. Sold out to stellantis and now are cheap Italian pos. Taco on the other hand is all around better and has its own roots on a global scale of reliability and quality. I own a jk and a trd pro 4runner an FJ and a tundra Trd. Love my JK but will give my vote to Toyota on an overall scale. Better built. Better ride quality.

So basically if the Tacoma had 35’s It would have made the jeep look bad? Lol 30.5 inch tall tires vs 35’s hmmmm ? Jeeps are great for off road but thats about it and to be honest I don’t see to much difference between those in off road situations there pretty close like splitting hairs close , good try Ben 👍🏻

The reason the tacoma doesn't have 35's is it can't fit or handle 35's. If you modified the jeep the same amount it would take for the tacoma to rock 35's, the jeep would be sitting on 40s at that point.

watching that "climb" at 11:42 was embarrassing. its a small dry slope and you didn't even slip. a one ton cummins could have eased up that in 2wd pulling a trailer.
