That type of jet boat is called a jet sprint and they are amazing to watch. In New Zealand you can actually go to a permanent jet sprint park and take a ride.
So cool! I've been to NZ but I never got to see that!

I loved what you did with the UTB18. Out of all my crawlers I think its my favorite. I can toss it in a backpack and since I went brushless it can tackle almost anything my 1/10ths can.

Print the body panels in grey lightweight-foaming PLA. Then prime and paint them for realistic damage effect.

Hey glad to see the choice on the rwb. Are you going to use magnets to mount the body? I’d 100% recommend scale reflex gorilla mounts. You can lift the car off the track by the body. Super secure. Can’t wait to see what you come up with. Just wait till you get more bodies than you know what to do with lol 😂. Keep the amazing videos coming

I built the same M-Jet Sprint boat as my first 3D printer project ever on my Creality K1 Max. I have never 3D printed before. Had my friend make sure it was all setup correctly then decided to just go for it. Trust me, If I can do it, your neighbors Yorki can do it.

It does become a way of life after a while. I walk into the shop and pick a project out of the 5 or 6 RC builds I always seem to have going at one time, jumping back and forth keeps your mind thinking about different ways of doing the same part or paint or whatever. Styrene day or paint day cool, soldering and tiny wire routing day not as cool. Always fun to see what Matt’s building.

if you get the "Yokomo Y2-415CPA - Brake Disk and Caliper Complete Set F&R for YD-2" you get not only the brake disc hex hubs but also the newer front knuckles and rear uprights for your chassis wich is a plus. Because the newer knuckles has built in trail you will need to set up the chassis again, but if you are planning on shortening the wheelbase with moving the spacers on the pins to shorten the wheelbase you will need to do that anyway so its a win win situation none the less. I am sure Nezzo and your track locals will explain this in more detail your best oprion to shorten the wheelbase and widening the track width without loosing any performance and help you out bigtime :-)
Also, make sure to set those adjustable DS Racing wheels to 6 - 8mm offset and use the length of the upper and lower arm and steering link to widen your track width in the front. If wider than that your scrub radius will be to much, or narrower and you will decrese your full lock potential. At the front most of us use like 6 - 8mm offset wheels in combination with the standard 8mm front hexes, but as mentioned earlyer the chassis will need to be set up again after widening the track width at the front so you get the perfect camber, caster and acerman setting for your local track.
At the rear you can go as wide as you want for offset for the track width basicly. There is both 5mm and 6.5mm brake disk hex hub options for the rear, so toghether with those adjustable offset DS Racing wheels you can find the perfect fitment for sure.

I captain my captain.
I mentioned that I was printing 2 of these, after a test run I ended up printing a third hull with the bilge pump as some water was getting into the hull. I also used some petroleum jelly along the lid seal which improved the water resistance as well as making it easier to remove and replace the lid. I’ll be testing the bilge later today. Happy boating!
Nice, let me know how the bilge pump works. A little water isn’t a big deal. A lot is a problem. Ha!

Hi Matt. With the boom racing series Land Rover. You either need to add in the windows on the roof section. Or take the door tops off totally as it was an option on the original big ole nuts and easy to remove. That way it won’t look so ……. Weird?
It looked weird to me without the top portion of the surround. Trust me, I tried!

I've covered it in a bunch of videos, but honestly, just buy the printer and their filament to get your feet wet. Nothing else is required.

I will never put it on a drifter. Porsche is for me the car that drives like on rails and is almost impossible to drift.

I used primarily PLA Tough. PETG a for the motor mount and steering bits, but that’s it. You can totally get away with PLA, for the whole thing! Go for it!
