      Sure but boomers grew up with immense amounts of economic privilege and did in fact vote and take action in ways that ensured their children and grandchildren would enter serfdom. They're really the first generation to take economic wealth from their kids as opposed to ensuring that their kids could build upon it

    Bill calling out the fact that hard work doesn’t get you anywhere these days is so nice to hear. The amount of time I heard “just work harder” in response to my circumstances is ridiculous. If I had worked harder at the time, I probably would have ended up in the hospital as I already really sick from overwork.

    From a European perspective it is always bizarre to hear Americans decrying a very basic social system as "communism". A decent minimum wage, national health insurance and labour unions are completely normal to most European countries and that certainly does not make them communist. Outside of the American bubble, these things are considered basic human rights. It's nice to see that Gen Z, growing up in a more connected world, recognizes this.

Any one representing the early 20's to late 20's. I'm Gen X. To me, most of the age group between 20-29 (and maybe slightly further depending) is a generation of entitled and whiny people, lmfao! Seems like every one is so sensitive nowadays...afraid of independence and self accountability. It isn't about "back in my day" but seriously...most in that age bracket doesn't know what "tough times" mean. The last 2 decades have been an extreme "cush zone" lol

      But we actually evolve with every generation so the next generation is technically more advanced and intelligent than us because they know all what we know and more.
      On the other hand, older generation has already experienced life, so they are wiser than the new generation it's just that not all their values will work because societies tend to change with time, so while younger generation should absolutely listen to the older generation, they should also work on creating a better world.

      I mean they're not wrong, gen zs are the most educated gen yet because education is no longer seen as a privilege compared to the previous generations. Also, with the appearance of the Internet and digital world, you can practically search for anything on the internet right now.
      Wiser because experience, they have lived longer and have experienced more than what the gen after has. However, it can be hit or miss with how the society is constantly evolving.

      @@wxlfie2 the problem is I have asked people "why do you believe that?" and they have straight up refused to explain their thoughts making excuses like "you wouldn't understand / you would argue it anyway" like give me a chance, we will see, but I think with social media... these kids often just repeat talking points and its not even truly their own opinions they are just repeating. so I don't think people should get much credit for their opinions unless they can actually back up why they have them

My dad always tells me your generation this and your generation that and its hard to explain to him that he is talking about 2 completely different generations. 1 generation is soft and likes to fit in and be well liked while the other is very much “im like this and if you don’t like it get out of my face” (these are ofc stereotypes but most people that i have seen in these two generations are exactly like that)

    You can tell in Bill's eyes that when someone talks he is listening intently. He isn't the listening so he can say something, he is listening so he can try to understand what they are saying. What he says after that is meant to help him understand and to voice what he believes while keeping in mind that the other person has their own central beliefs.

    I feel like Gen Z in their teens versus Gen Z in their 20s have a different set values at the start. If there was a 17 year old that would've made this video more interesting.

      Not sure about that - I'm in my late teens and agreed with a lot of what Corinne was saying. Although I can see young teens/tweens having a different perspective (those years can be strange)

      @@CR-hu1db Right! I totally can relate to my life to some things that the Gen Z was saying. Although I'm close with a very good friend who is in his 20s, and trust me, our values our so different, and yet we're are in the same gen. That's why I had that feeling that this video wasn't a complete representation on the Gen Z side.

      Kentren Yeh To an extent yes, but you’ve got to realise is that these kids are now dealing with the real world, majority of seventeen-year-old’s are not. Which means their views will be placed within reason as day-to-day they will be dealing with bills, full-time jobs, taxes and voting just like boomers.

    11:53 - the one thing everyone must carry away from this. Study history, don't just let it be taught to you, study it actively and with an investigative hat on. Find as many original documents, event discriptions, letters, witness reports as you can.

      Aashna Poduval As someone born in 2000 Im kinda glad they got some older GenZ since most things I have seen on Gen Z uses teens and kids. But you're right we are a diverse group they should've had some younger people and (no offense) maybe one gen z that wasn't LGBTQ just to switch up the opinions more.

      gen z is typically split up from older gen z (1997 to 2005)(the first connected) and younger gen z (2006 to 2012)(the technology inherent) I'm 2003 so I'm in the middle and would relate to both sides of the spectrum.

      No, they like him because he is receptive to outside ideas and can disagree with them without being arrogant or demeaning. It's a great trait to have but is unfortunately very rare across all generations.
