  • In today's video, I take you on a tour of my new Pattaya Beach view condo tour. I am back at the beach and back in another beach view condo here in Pattaya Beach Thailand.
    I rented this off AirBnb for 45 days. The view, pool, gym and beach in the area are amazing.

    You make the best videos. I really appreciate how you show all the details of the building before you show the apartment. I appreciate that you also give the cost and most importantly, I appreciate that you don’t have some loud clanging music while you talk. Your videos are so clear and informative.

    Another great video, Kevin! $600/month for that unit seems like a good deal, given the amenities and view. It would be perfect for me. Would you either document you expenses for the first month you're there, or guestimate them? When I retire as a DOD civilian (with some military time) I'm planning to essentially do what you're doing.... move every 30 - 90 days and explore new places. Your videos are very inspiring. Take care.

    Thank you for the tour of your new appartment. That looks like a beautiful area. It always amazes me that no one is in the water or on the beach, then I remember our exchange student... she was very careful to avoid getting tan. I guess it is a cultural thing. I love the pool, it looks perfect for lap swimming. Well I hope we are done with snow now. We just shoved 6" last Thursday. Late even for Kansas City, Missouri. Today is supposed to be in the 60s. • @30AndAWakeUp
      @30AndAWakeUp  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No this one is in Pratumnak area...about 5 miles from the Cetus towards Pattaya Central. They are on opposite sides of Jomtien. I like both Pattaya and Chiang Mai. Just depends if you want beach life with a party aspect or mountain jungle life with lots of cool cafes. I like to do both!

      @rudd2962 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@30AndAWakeUp bro, thanks for replying. Am looking to set up a permanent base. Have a bit of sinus n a little worried that staying in Chiang Mai permanently may damage my health due to the 4 months of bad air every year ..
      Am looking to eventually buy a house in a gated community with pool (Moo Baan, bigger space, lower maintenance fee) but am having a headache as it looks like most places in Greater Bangkok n many in Pattaya get hit by flash floods after heavy rains ..
      Be nice if you happen to know relatively flood free places in both places though might still end up having to choose patts due to the horrific traffic jams in BKK ..
      Hua Hin is the third consideration but afraid it will get too small n boring after some time ..
      Actually Malaysia is a better value place (condo maintenance 20 baht vs 55-60- baht per m2 for the newer condos in Thailand (TL), petrol price 16 baht per liter vs 46 in TL, condos are 50 - 300 m2 with much better sound insulation ( thicker walls)) but Malaysia looks to be a much less fun place to stay ..

      If you're coming in on a tourist visa you usually do but I'l be honest, I've never had them ask. What I used to do was book a refundable one way ticket to Singapore (it's pretty cheap)...and then cancel it after.

I've watched a ton of your vids and it seems you Airbnb a lot for your month or longer stays. How do you research so you get a good unit? Are you ever not happy with your place after a week or so? Great video. Place looks like heaven. I am trying to decide between the price and beauty of Thailand vs. the companionship of Phillipines. Can you help me Understand if it is misperception on my part? All the TH-cam bloggers in Thailand are always show empty pools, empty gyms, empty everything except for nightlife where they party with strangers. All the phillipines bloggers are showing days filled with family, friends, girlfriends, neighbors at the pool. I want the combination of them both. I like in the USA apartment pools with music and kegs or Catina’s with a water volleyball game every Saturday and Sunday. Is it possible to find a fun active community at a Thailand condo? I haven’t found phillipine bloggers showing as nice a place comparable this type of place you are in. Any thoughts?
