There’s some great camera angles there, I’ve never seen one mounted on the bucket before

Thx for the video, just got yourself a new sub 😉👍
She's a beauty, that's one that you hand down to your little ones, to show them what a true diesel looks like.💪

LTL9000. Got my CDL on a dump LTL...worked on them until the end as Ford tech in NH until they disappeared after 1997. After they were done, so was I...left that profession in 1998. Decent machines. Miss them in a way. I don't miss the profession in any way.

@@lancegatcomb9640 same, I wish I had an LTL 9000 slap a Detroit Diesel in it and call it a day. the area I live in though. good luck. you're either going to come across just complete junk (not able to be saved or salvaged) or issues with no titles etc. (so you can't "legally" use them, maybe in your yard etc. but not "legally on the road" and idk "stolen" stuff etc. I just prefer to have a "clean" title when I buy stuff) or it's in the hands of a "collector" (no offense to them either at all, just, they doing different things with them, obv "preserving" them, when I'm just trying to use them still lol) and you're never getting it off them, n even if you do, it's all "show".
I wish I could find a nice LTL 9000, just in decent shape, if price was right, all day. it's literally just my "area" that stops me from owning one of these. as i've seen them in other states, no problems. someday, I'll go out of state and get one. it's def on my "to do" list.
but beast Trucks (IMO) it's just what they are honestly "able" to still do (like to this day) the modifications you can do to these beauties, the engines that you can swap into them (to just make them 100x better and idk keep up and even out do "modern" trucks) is just remarkable, then when you take ALL of that AND add into account, how easy they just are to truly work on.
honestly the LTL 9000 (again, imho) is one of the most "under rated" trucks out there.
generally, unless you "really" know about them. most people wouldn't defend them and simply say things like "they were good back in the days, when they were in production" etc.
telling you, to this day, amazing truck that can out do plenty of modern day trucks.
like any "car", motorcycle, truck, whatever. the "Vehicle" is only half the battle, the driver behind the wheel is what makes up the rest of that half.
if that driver "has" knowledge (aka not just a "racer" or "driver" like plenty people are) in Automotives and Diesel etc. good luck. because what's "possible" is limitless.
plenty of people just have money and pay someone to "install" the "best" performance parts they got etc. it's just day and night when you actually have the knowledge. n I'm telling you, the LTL 9000's are true Beasts.
trucks that were just truly built right.
