Daniel's crew cuts have been absolutely extraordinary. How else would I have learned about Nick's passion (Obsession?) for shrimp, or how insanely creative Griffin is at the circle game. One of my favorite moments from a recent episode is when everyone is gathered around the big TV to guess which characters were used to generate photo-real images and Griffin Gets everyone in the room. That moment carries so much more excitement for me as a viewer because I've seen the context for it, and it makes me feel like I'm part of the group. Thank you Daniel for the time, effort, and creativity you put into each and every crew cuts episode!

12:30 On this topic, fellow youtuber Shadiversity and sword enthusiast released a book, that is now his book is being adapted into a short film. He went to Canada to teach the actors how to fight with a sword realistically and in historically accurate stances.

Wooden instruments do age better over time. I have a cello from 1890 and it sounds great. improves over time as the fibers of the instrument break down more and create more resonance.

My main violin is from 1910, what makes an resonating box instrument like violin or guitar sound better over time is both the age of the wood but also the playing of the instrument the wood gets more accustomed to resonating at certain frequencies over time

Coming from a military perspective: You do a lot of shooting that is not necessarily intended to kill, a lot of shooting is to limit your opponents ability to shot back at you by forcing them to take cover so that someone else can get in a position or use a different weapon system to kill the opponent. So shooting down a hallway without actually hitting or even seeing someone is not a crazy thing in my opinion. Watch The Raid series by Battle State Games for a pretty good portrayal of close quarter battles from a military mindset.
Of course law enforcement or similar will have very different philosophy's behind when you pull the trigger.

Damn, I've never been around when one of these drops...I should go to bed.
EDIT: I haven't yet. Oh well.
Rob Scallon (on YT) just released a video of him building a classical guitar with a professional luthier. I couldn't stop watching. I recommend checking it out.
Also emotional connection with music is at least socially learned. Western music usually uses a 12 tone system that we're (Western listeners) all highly sensitive to. Other cultures in the world (e.g. Indian or indigenous Asian music) use more or less than 12 tone systems. They can be really interesting (and hard) to listen to.

Yes in classical Roman Latin, they only had the hard ‘C’. Cæsar would be KAI-sar not SEE-sar. Also, there was no W. The letter ‘V’ was pronounced the same as a W. they did have pronouns, just with different letter endings depending on the three genders in latin, Masculine, Feminine, and Neuter. Pronouns examples would be, 1st person Singular: Ego …1st person plural: Nos … 2nd person Singular: Tu … 2nd person plural: Vos. There were distal and proximal pronouns as well (think, “that vs this”)

Latin teacher here. In classical Latin (which you are talking about) the "c" and the "g" were both hard. So Caesar sounded like Kaesar not Saesar. Same for "g." It always made the "guh" sound, not the j sound we use sometimes. And they did have pronouns, but because they understood the subject from the verb's ending, they typically did not use them; however they would often use demonstrative pronouns, such as "this" or "that" since it gave more emphasis to what they were talking about. They did not have article adjectives such as "a" or "the."
    Hope this helps.

Suicide doors might be called like that because if you jump off a car at high speed you will hit the doors or get stuck in them and probably die. And since you are doing it by your own free will, technically if you die it would be considered suicide. I think. Not sure, just a theory.
Plus calling them "accidental death doors" doesn't sound as cool.
As a side note, in Portuguese we say "carro" (car in english), which comes from the latin "carrus".
