Fifteen minutes later, one of A’s best female friends joined, celebrating that A got together with a fantastic guy, the DAY BEFORE. Bang! That was it for me. I went home, listened to Sting - this performance - and cried. Anyway, I still love the song - I would probably love it less had my love not failed. By the way, it continued. The next day A told me that he was a 'fun' guy, nothing serious. Last time I saw her, she was still married to him (and they have kids). Life can come up with funny stories.
I wonder if artists are now ashamed that they supported political changes in South Africa. As a result of the change of power, South Africa turned into a hole of shit. The collapsed economy. HUNDRED THOUSANDS of white farmers were killed. The holocaust of white people has been going on like this for years, and the world and artists have been silent.
