Everyone’s always talking about Joe’s guitar playing, rightfully so, but man, dude can sing.
💯 % true
Yes yes.. singing getting better and better when Joe ages... and of course that guitar playing.. LOL.. can't miss mentioning it.. can it get any better ?
I was reading an article on the top 10 recommended JB albums and whoever was reviewing them also commented on his singing saying that he'd been taught wrongly/badly to sing, saying it was theatrical/karaoke...what!!!! I must definitely be listening to something completely different, he's a great singer, totally crazy isn't it 🤪🤔
Yes. He definitely improved his vocal skills in the last 10-15 years. He said that girls helped a lot (Mahalia, Jade and Juanita).
@@orgzz6829... I don't understand the complainers. Some people will complain about anything! I love Joe's vocals! ❤️
One of my fav’s off of that album. Royal Tea is Joe’s best album since John Henry
Love the cardboard cut out audience 😂
Quite a feat, getting the cardboard cut-outs to applaud at the end! Joe Bon can do anything!!!😅🎶💙🎶
I hear myself listening to this song until the day I die. My son Nick took his life Christmas eve 2021. When I watch and listen to Joe it seems to take me away from the grief. This is musical therapy for me. I thank you Joe. We all do.
One of the best talented guitarist of our time
the best
I have followed Joe since 1991. I knew one day he would shine above the rest. That day is here. Five times at Red rocks Colorado I have watched. If you like The Blues then do yourself a deed. Go see Joe live. Even if it costs $500 go do it. Worth every penny.
Very few songs out there that deserve to be longer than 9 minutes but Joe and the band could have stretched this one to 20 minutes and I'd still be hitting the replay button at the end.
I wish he would have done that xD I could listen to a 24 hour version of this song. No shit, I'm addicted to it since Royal Tea was released and can't stop listening to this song since then. I hope he will play it live in lots and lots of times in the future!
The best blues 💙 man in the world 🌍
Me too
I wish it was 1 hour long
Glad to know I'm not the only Joe Bon Fon (Fan) addicted to the replay button! 😅🎶💙🎶
How can anybody dislike this? Listening to Joe & the band play live at let loose is amazing & they hit it out of the park every single time.
They probably like C rap
Maybe the performance was average. Of course average in the comparison to other recorded concerts.
Pearls before swine my friend. Treat social media with that in mind & you'll be just fine.
@@robertcovara593 Or their just angry loners living who blame everything on their ex.
They prefer recordings so over-driven there are no dynamics. Let them eat static
Joe is such a phenomenal talent, and a perfect example of someone who knows how to handle fame.
I think this one is the best JB’s song ever. Such a masterpiece
Agreed.. a masterpiece
it is !
It’s been a long time since a singer songwriter guitarist has crafted a song this good, has all the elements to hypnotise the listener. Gary Moore was a pioneer and Joe has taken it past where it was found.
Oh my God this is my absolute favourite from Royal Tea and maybe the most dearest to me from all time. This song means so much to me...
Wait for another live record of this song. It was the first time. :)
@@bartomiejkusmierczyk5413 I know and I do, actually can't wait😂 hope he'll play this live in every show from now on haha
Totally agree 😔💖
A new King!
Totally agree 🍭💖🎷🎸🎹
I wonder if this solo will ever be considered one of the greatest ever, because it definitely is. I can’t stop listening to it.
I keep saying the same thing! I love this song and I never get tired of listening to it. I went and seen him for the first time a couple weeks ago in New Orleans March 2023 and he does not perform this song…urrrhhh! I have seen many comments where other people say they don’t like his song list for the tour he is doing right now and I have to agree. Damn this song should be on the radio! I’ve always liked his singing and playing, but this song reaches deep into my soul. I love the fact that he wrote the song with his band and it’s his song. This song makes me want to learn how to play guitar…no kidding. ❤
Joe has been laying down this kind of solo skill since he was Joey Bonamassa. I'm from his hometown area. (His dad, Lenny, is an old buddy of mine.)
Joey used to show up in a black wide-brimmed hat, dress shirt and pleated pants and cowboy boots on feet that he hadn't grown into yet at the age of 12. He would throw his head back the way he does now and set the stage on fire. He was playing with veteran players... grown men, and there wasn't any question who the star of the band was.
He has an emotional timbre to his playing that sets him apart (and above) a lot of other great players. The dude has always had that. I remember thinking, "Where does a kid get that kind of blues emotion at that age?" He has the gift. And he's always been a basic nice guy. Lenny and Deb brought him up right.
The way he turns toward the amp to get that perfect feedback on the final note, just letting it hang there. That’s mastery of your gear right there. He also shows how to use a Bigsby the right way.
Agreed
I just said that!!love this stuff
I just can't stop watching and listening to this amazing perfect performance.... I got lucky and got the 1st row ticket right in the middle to Joe's next April concert in Finland... now it's just 6 months of waiting !!! A dream come true will be waiting.. a musician above anyone on my personal list 😊
Lucky you
The man has the ability to take a song and hone it into a master piece of musical feeling. The highs, the lows and all the in be tweens imaginable. Love the way the guitar talks from him to us. Witness Greatness and feel the soul.
As a painter paints the Mona Lisa, Joe Bonamassa plays.
So awesome.
He started playing guitar when he was 4. Formed a gigging band when he was 12. Gave up the "marriage and family" thing to focus 100% on his music (his wife left him). He is a pure musician; there is nobody like him.
In my opinion, the very rare case of a songwriter and guitar virtuoso with an equally great voice. And a good guy, no obnoxious ego, no tv's flying out of hotel windows. We luv you, Joe Bon. 😅🎶💙🎶
I think this is your best sounding Gibson.
Ao escutar Joe Bonamassa o estresse acaba se transformando em emoções inesqueciveis. Obrigado por existir JB!
There are no words enough for this man
speechless!!!!! a true guitar master
Amen to that 😎🎸💯💖
Really Love this and it makes me think of the late Gary Moore ♫
i love garry moore and i love this guy...just discovered him and beth hart 5 months ago
Ya yaaa you nailed it he is his band are captivating audiences world wide like Gray Moore and crew did
In my opinion...this song and this version...is Joe's best.
Joe IS a fine wine. He has gotten better with each and every passing year. His barrel is seasoned and his voice has aged, grown silky smooth, each new song a finer bouquet than the previous...awesome Joe!
I Love this song, Joe’s Voice Sounds Incredible, His Guitar Playing Is Extraordinary, The Band Is So Awesome, What a Great Tone, Such A True Song, I Love ❤️ It.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
,
This sounds crazy, but that incredible song seeps into my bones every time I hear it. Absolutely LUV it! 🎶💙 😅
It's amazing how clean Joe plays he is fiery and off the charts skilled and man he is so clean you never hear a mistake
Tady není co hodnotit ! Jen tu hudbu přijmout tak jak je a to je celé !
Clapton is god? I think they were wrong. Bonamassa is god. Holy shit even after 15 years of constant listenting to Joe B he always finds a way to impress me. It is almost uncomfortable how good he is. What a huge talent.
Absolutely phenomenal! Can’t stop watching
Talent, beauty, emotion, elegance, excellence, passion, poetry, charisma, perfectionism. Great Joe!
FFFFFAAAANNTASTIC ...
Well - as we can hear - Joe Bonamasa makes that guitar TALK!
You know, the last chord feeding back just perfectly sums up his command of the guitar. That solo at the end keeps bringing me back for another listen…just WOW….😵
There is a god 🤗😊 ! Nicely done !
I remember back in early 90s seeing Joe as a kid on TV when he was opening for BB King at age 12. There was no doubt in my mind or BB's mind that he would be a legend in modern blues rock. He continues to get better and better. It's just a pleasure to witness his rise from all those years of hard work and dedication to his craft. SMOKIN' JOE!
My Great Dream, Jackie Vensom and Joe Bonamassa live at the Vienna Opera Hall 🙏😘🥰
First time I’ve heard this it’s as awesome of all his his music and vocals. Swear he gets better with age. Just how many guitar solos can this man keep pulling off. Ludicrous ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love his voice!!!

What a talent this man is!
Tired of running
I've seen these times before
Desperation
Our candle burns no more
Everything we know
Takes us so far away
Trace your steps back
Don't let 'em guide your way
When I leave
Oh, I leave for good
No coming back
Like you said I would
You crossed the line
Why does it take so long to say goodbye?
Every time
I'm just a castaway
Cast out into the sea
Another rainy night
Tears from the endless fights
Oh, I carried you
Carried you on my own
So take the love you've had
And pretend you always know
When I leave
Oh, I leave for good
No coming back
Like you said I would
You crossed the line
Why does it take so long to say goodbye?
Every time
Say goodbye
Every time
When I leave
Oh, I leave for good
No coming back
Like you said I would
You've crossed the line
Why does it take so long to say goodbye?
Every time
Say goodbye
Every time, yeah...
Hearing some serious Gary Moore vibes in this song! That's a good thing!
❤ This concert should have been called ‘Now Serving the GREATEST BLUES ARTIST Live from the Ryman’❗️Joe’s in top form as always 👍
JOE YOUR THE BEST, YOU HAVE A GIFT FROM GOD,.
I recently discovered him, and I don't know what took so long. He plays that guitar like a virtuoso, and can he sing. This guy is the complete deal
Joe, I've seen you twice live and both times I was awestruck you only get better. Great song, excellent presentation!!

Thank you
Joe, great song, great arrangement, very much laid back, with a lot of feeling, without the show-off attitude of the shredder guys. The influence of Gary from Northern Ireland ist very remarkable.
I guess if you're not going to play a country tune at the Ryman, then you can always wear a country jacket! Another Bonamassa genius performance!!

That was awesome! My goosebumps are bursting, and better yet he played Tommy Bolins Les Paul! Perfect, you’re the best Joe!
The 60 Bolin burst back in action.
That final note just hanging there on the edge of completely feeding back, and he gently coaxes it along with the Bigsby, turning to let the amp keep it going. You can see he knows he nailed it. Outstanding!!😎😑
If I was gonna have a Bonamassa song played at my funeral, I’d go for his live version of Starship Trooper at the Ryman. Reese made it beautifully apocalyptic, and Joe brought it on home.
And THIS Joe video is the one that I want to be played at my own funeral, along with David’s (from Disturbed) solo, black and white video, of ‘The Sound of Silence’!
Beautiful, a great performance. Your songs are full of emotional power and your playing is a full cup 100 proof blues rock goodness.
Your vocals, guitar playing, timing and musicianship are why you are at the top of my list essential listening.
Thank you Sir.
Hard for my heart, stings into pain, strong and sung in the most wonderful timbre of voice ! Really horny sung rarely….but the Joe , he can do it!
Guitar 🎸 as always brilliant, arrangements highest level, dynamics, building the song first cream……
People…I’m dying !
I am so grateful to being turned on to this guy a couple of years ago what an incredible musical talent not just his playing but his vocals touches my soul listening to him
My best friend of 30 years suggested Mr.Bonamassa to me last week.
Man am I grateful and indebted to him for the rest of my life! How has he passed me by all these years I don't know.
Incredible and plays that guitar like it's plugged into his heart. Perfection!
*Edit - All the musicians he's played with that I've seen so far are also incredible!
Thanks for your love and support 🌹 it’s has been your moral push and well wishes that have kept me at my best thanks again.

I’m so fortunate to have seen Joe B twice, in concert - Phoenix then The Red Rocks. Love his mastery & I’ve been a fan for 16 yrs. I’ve watched & listened to him grow. Love the man!!!
MASTERPIECE...
Bonamassa is God to the blues!
Absolutely bloody brilliant! Excellent! Soulful! Wonderful! Wish I had the words to describe how good and great it is!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Another "Holy shit!" single note solo line from this guy. Go get 'em, Joey.
Great song and performance! Thank you Joe! 👍👏👑❤️
💧 WOW! IF I SIT HERE LISTENING TO THIS BOTH ON THIS PHONE AND ON THE TV OVER AND OVER , TEARS COME DOWN MY EYES AND MY HEART HURTS AGAIN FROM LONG AGO!! I'M IN A BIG FAN FOR MANY YEARS AND I'M 63 SO IT'S BEEN MANY YEARS I'VE NEVER HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE YOU LIVE BUT I AM A BIG FAN BLESSINGS TO YOU AND TO ALL THAT YOU DO AND TO THE FEELINGS YOU BRING UP AND WE CAN TRY THEM AWAY AND THEN FEEL BETTER I ALWAYS FEEL BETTER AFTERWARDS AND THAT GETS HER SOLO TOWARDS THE END OH MY SWEET LORD I LOVE YOU SO JOE KEEP ON DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING AND I PRAY TO GOD KEEPS GIVING YOU STRENGTHS ALONG THIS JOURNEY THAT IS SO HARD IT IS NOT AN EASY ROAD AND PAIN IS A PART AND MOST OF IT 💧💙😥
I’m right there w/you Janet. I’m an 85 yr old life long blues lover. I’ve seen Joe in concert twice. The man I perfect on the guitar. Have never seen or heard him blow a chord!
@Joe bonamassa- Joe, you are the man! I live in the little town of Black Canyon City, AZ & about 15 years ago I went to the juke box in the local bar & played some of your music. Every time I did this, someone would go to the jb to see who that was! I was the first one ever to play your music here & made a lot of friends over your music. Probably see you this fall or winter when you come back to Arizona. Blues forever!!
@Joe bonamassa: One more thing Joe. Please do something with Erja Tyytenen! You two would cook!!
Великий мастер! Каждая композиция шедевр.
Joe Bonamassa and Gary Moore best the best!!!
Подобно на Мур, Бонамаса твърде често е не по-малко лиричен.
my 2 new favourite guitarists (been livin under a rock)
Best Joe B song EVER!!
Талантище как владеет гитарой! Чувствует каждой клеточкой! Шикарно!!!
Beautiful, just beautiful
The best there is…..simple as that! Thanks Joe!
The Tommy Bolin 1960 Les Paul sounding great in Joe's hands.
That was my first thought. But Joe makes everything sound good.
Cool pick guard!
Beautiful Les Paul 💯🎸😎
Thank you for identifying that axe! Thank you for keeping Tommy Bolin’s musical memory alive.
Love how he let it hang on the edge of going into full feedback on that last chord. Man, he made that guitar literally sing.
Brilliant in every regard!

ALWAYS A PERFECT PERFORMANCE !! JOE is the TOTAL DEFINITION of MUSICIAN ! ! ! ! ! ! I'm ALWAYS in AWE of HIS /the BAND's EXCELLENCE. MAKES ME PROUD TO HAVE SUCH AWESOME TASTE in MUSIC. THANKS JOE & the AWESOME Members of the BAND !!
Yes. He can sing. With this covid stuff I haven't been to a concert in a while. I went to a G3 concert with Joe Satriani, John Pettruci, Phil Collen - that was awesome. Pettruci was awesome.
Anyway, my G3 would be Bonamassa, Buckethead, and Joe Satrianti - that would be awesome.
me quiere decir alguien como hace este tipo ? , de que planeta vino? , este muchacho no es de aca, es demasiado Joe!!!!
Superb. Doesn’t get any better than this
Tone and Timing. Wow🤗🎸🎶🎼💥
Wonderful talent. Joe just keeps getting better and better with each album.
I saw and heard Joe B for the first time on a public tv channel about 7-8 years ago. When he walked out on stage in a suit and tie wearing sun glasses he reminded me of a young Jack Nicholson. Well being a Jack Nicholson fan I decided to watch for a few minutes. When he began playing I was in awe and I've been a fan since. His writing talent and guitar skills are so good it's hard to find words to describe it.
Awesome, unbelievable, mind blowing, badass awesome are a few. I like all of his songs and hope someday I can see him live in concert. I know he writes most of his lyrics but does anyone out there know if he excepts lyrics from fans and if so how could they be sent to him?
Joe says he isn't cool . This is not true . On stage he is Mr. Blues McCool and a Legend in the making every note comes through so clearly . One day he will meet his true love 💖 . Then his songs will reflect his thoughts and feelings .
Last solo ? Wow, joe is the best

Just perfect. Joe, you are a legend. I can't say anything. I am so glad that listen to you.
Great Joe, that Gibson cries on him ...🎸🙏
What an awesome drums sound! The snare is like a gun shot, perfectly matched with the guitar. Very nice job! Joe is a monster!
Joe, you are the best in a new generation of classic rock, blues and possible, jazz. 🥰❤❤❤❤👍
Joe is the Led Zeppelin of our time. I know this because because I was a a zepplin fan in 1970.
absolutely outstanding
Listening to Joe all day everyday Pandora at work. Can't listen to country that long or rock. Joes smooth great listening music
Einer der besten Blues Gitarristen die unter uns sind u.waren.❤
This is the Joe Bonamassa song that I hear in my head more than any. It is exceptionally beautiful. It’s like crawling into a comfy bed after another day of…
Pierwsza gitara na świecie!
Brawo Joe
How that is so true. Thought up in things I thought was right was so wrong. I think God for the truth. Dam good song. Joe you are the best. Hope to see you in a few days ether in Nashville or Evansville .thank you for what you do .❤
