I would love to see a Geetslys "Star Wars Bible". It could just be the "essential" cannon told in a more mythologized way. It'd make the banter between Obi-Wan and Anakin even more hilarious. "And Kenobi spoke onto Skywalker: 'To attempt is folley, I have the altitude advantage'..
I hope geetslys understands how much their videos mean to some people i can't fall asleep with out a geetslys videos playing on my phone and these long form lore videos are perfect for this thank you
I absolutely love this video. It answered a few questions that I had as I'm currently reading the Republic Commando series by Karen Traviss (working on Order 66). It helps piece together Delta and Omega squads contributions throughout the Clone Wars. I just love how the small details become corner stones for the bigger picture
@@mattl9084 i have and it reaffirms what I already know. But there are some details that I haven't learned so the video is a great way of getting to know nearly everything both squads have done
@@CplVelasco makes sense, literally most of the people I've talked to didn't even know the game existed and it's horrible because that game was just simply amazing
@@mattl9084 it would amazing if fans were able to get some dlc or content on what happened to Sev. We could literally make canon and finally bring him home
Wolffe saw users of the Force first hand and lost his eye to one. He saw Jedi and he saw Sith. The latter was important. It would make sense for clones to believe the chancellor and later emperor if they knew just how ferocious and dangerous force wielders could be. In their view, the Jedi could very easily betray the Republic if key members fell to the dark side and corrupted the entire institution, which would require the wholesale slaughter of these very dangerous psychic warriors no matter who they were or even if they had actually betrayed the Republic. They could take no chances.
1:06:23 phrik, called that because it makes lightsaber users say, "phrik phrik phrik!" When they come across someone using a weapon made out of the material
Won't be surprised if this is just a meager 5% of all the special, covert, and blacker-than-black ops that happened with both universes combined. Not even doing Multiversal travel and chrono expeditions can give us more findings, let alone archival discoveries in fringe locations and worldlines. Oh, and this is just the Clone Wars. Imagine how much kf these from the conflicts from way before the Great Hyperspace War to the codas after the Sith-Imperial War we will never unearth anymore.
Special Forces are a staple in defeating your enemies in what they believe is a secure location in their territory, but it feels a bit cheap when the entire war was guided by Palpatine hand.
How did the republic feel about the kaminoans keeling the arcs until the battle of kamino? If the republic knew they existed they probably would have wanted them deployed before that right?
Not sure if Khorm should count as a Special Ops Mission. Also, shouldn't we go in chrnological order so Delta Squads Mission on Genosis should be first.
Maybe u shouldn't forget that gaftikar also was where omega squad lost fi, who the republic would've let die n who was only rescued after being kidnapped out of the hospital, hidden by corrupt cops n smuggled to mandalor. He needed to b replaced so for omega squad that mission was actually one of their worst. Also, there were 3 alpha arc deserters. U prolly forget maze, who deserted during order 66 as he decided to protect his general. The 2 were the latest arrivals at the skirata compound. So it's spar suhl n maze. Given how independent n headstrong these troopers were, there skill to operate without support as one man army bhind enemy lines, also the fact that they were the least modified n trained to optimize loyalty n team spirit, it's actually most likely that there would've been more alphas who checked out. Not only were they the ones, best able to , they also were the troopers that got the most exposure to the regular world n would get the exidtencial crisis plus the growing doubts about whom they serve, earier than others. While only the3 r confirmed, i say it's only logic that it must've been more in theory.
Is spar really defective though? To me irepcom true colrs seemed very much to imply that he was pretending. There is a scene of spar meeting the doctor/instructor who brought him to mandalore. In it he mockingly quotes how ho had told about his sympthoms, back then n they both have a good laugh about it. Perhaps that was a later assition but i rather go with the novels than the old marvel comics run, which weren't conciddered canonicle to the books from the start n massively retconned.
You mispronounced Executor. It's "eg-ZEK-yə-ter". An executor is a person appointed by a testator (an official or person of authority) to carry out their will; eg, an attorney being appointed the executor of a dying man's estate (the sum of his worldly possessions and assets). In the context of Vader's SSD, it is self-referential, as Vader himself is the appointed carrier-out of the emperor's will and mandate. It has nothing to do with execution, as your pronounciation seems to indicate you believe, and is in fact more akin to an imperator, an ultimate commander or general in service of an emperor. Waitaminnit. Sha'ghee? Seriously? That's literally Shaggy Rogers, wtf. XD
Babe wake up, Geetsly's dropped another bible of Star Wars lore.
And it’s commandos and arcs 😍! Dude never misses
Ok hun 👍🏼 I’m up … 😂

You laugh, but my girlfriend and I love these videos. She was the one who told me about this video.
5:00 Now I'm imagining Wolffe screaming "Come on, brothers! Do you wanna live forever?!"

I sleep to these videos probably 60% of the time.. other 40% is various Star Wars audio books
Dude you are my sleep aid. I put on a Geetsly's video and 30 minutes later I'm sound asleep. Keep up this style of work!
Thanks!
Thank you so much! Glad you’re enjoying the vids:)
0:04 out of context this is hilarious
please explain
I wish we seen of all these special missions in the clone wars
Fr there could probably be a smaller show just focusing on clones and their missions
Read the republic commando series, it’s amazing
Geetsly, you are my favorite TH-camr. Your channel never disappoints. Keep Em coming, my friend!
These would make such good clone wars episodes.
Battle of Khorne....BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GODS!!
SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!
Hey Ghazghkull, these are the guys I was telling you about. You know, the ones who offed Yarrick.
I came here for this comment. I've been researching so much WH for a crossover story I'm writing that I had to focus not to hear Geets say Khorne.
HERESY!!!!!!😮
Phase zero dark troopers not being a thing in the new canon is a massive tragedy.

1:00:53 ah yes the best clone ever master chief
Could you also make a video about every bigger battle in the Clone wars?
10:54 The Jedi council dispatched [REDACTED]
Ah not Etain. I came here for a good time.
😂
Just read the series, some of the best books in the EU
They are my favorite books ever
For the Republic!
damn ventress looking like quite the snack in that first comic

15:18 for the brotherhood of nod
Apartheid Human colonies seems to be a running theme on these stories.
Love these long form lore videos!
I fuccin love this channel thanks for all the vids
Do a video on star wars animal war mounts.
That would be nice

Long form vid on the mandalorians
1:00:50 master chief, mint telling me what you’re doing on geonosis?
Killing bugs sir

I’m going to hear this for work tomorrow
Yeeees, a long Geetsly's video!
You always know exactly the stories Traviss has penned.
0:07 hahahahahaha
Hell yes this is what we wanted ❤
Awesome as always 👌💯
I love these!
Special indeed

10:54 weird audio cut out, it’s like it missed a line or two.
It did. He was just mentioning the two Jedi. You should be able to see it in the actual video
Clone assassins in canon are similar to covert ops clone troopers.
Null, Alpha and Republic Commandos are the coolest characters in Star Wars.
At 1:00:52 he attempted to sneak in a photo of master chief with delta squad

Seeing the play through of that level of Republic Commando is enough to make me mad 😂 I hate those droids

Yo

What do you have against furries?
Alot of things
Why are u saying Banks is a “they?” He’s a clone, and all clones are, well, clones of Jango Fett, who is a man, so why are u acting stupid?
I don't care if Dave is a Furry, nan's also got back issues cause of how hard he's carrying Star Wars rn
