    I love otters. Thanks for the tutorial.
    I remember seeing otters in Alaska. Floating down the sea with oysters in their hands.

    This was a tough one. I'm finding things that are easier for me and those that are harder. Fur is harder. But I never regret trying a tutorial. Thanks Sarah and Keenan!

    Charlie is a great choice for his name. I was thinking the same thing, but adding a little to the end.
    Charlie - the chubby cheeked otter! LOL I love you guys you're so great! TY for all your great tutorials. :)

    I have a body spray bottle that I washed out and use for my spray mister when I paint. It's small and had a softer mist.

    tru fax: I have not painted a pupil with a brush for over a year - I always use a black pen.

    I think that may be a sea otter-sea otters float on their backs like that as river otters swim belly down

    Hi! I have a question. I'm trying to paint some of the older tutorials as well (so much to learn!). Is there somewhere you have a little key translating what Dandelion paint colors can be used in place of the previous Dr. PH Martin colors? For example: what colors would I use for golden brown, coffee brown, and crimson?

    your graphite paper looks super crumbled. Like not just used, but purposefully balled up and then used. Do you recommend doing that?

    Can’t find the link for the outline. It says error 404

    Two pieces of paper that’s got two sides-so lots of chances for do-overs (if needed).😊

      Oops! I stand corrected. I just heard Sarah explain on another tutorial that the two sides are different. Rookie mistake.😂

    Where can we find a mister? I'd love to experiment (And my tired work brain cannot think of anything or anywhere to go to buy one😞)

    Speaking of adding color, I am fascinated with some animal watercolor paintings that do not use the correct color of the animal but 3 or 4 vibrant colors that one does not expect. Somehow they make it work. Sometimes dripping and splashing along the way. Have you ever considered doing a tutorial on something like that?

    It was the panda that you used watercolor for one eye and the micron pen for the other.

    Looks like a Sea Otter to me. River Otters aren’t as cute .

      Oh, but I beg to differ... river otters are way cute as well, they all are.

    This is by far my favorite I've done so far but what was so frustrating is how little we saw the painting vs Sarah talking. When you show the painting and Sarah is talking which is a lot, you put a square of her head in the corner because we must see her mouth move I guess. Don't get me wrong, I love her personality and the conversation is cute but we are learning to paint and most of this video is Sarah talking. Like the head party you hardly even get a chance to see what she is doing during it because either her hand is over it or the camera isn't even on the painting, I think maybe one close up during the entire video Sorry I'm ranting, I'm frustrated.

    • @catherinemusic8197
      @catherinemusic8197 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Meaning, Why don't you put the painting in the corner while she is talking. Please.

    • @LetsMakeArt
      @LetsMakeArt  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for the feedback Catherine. We have gotten into the habit of transitioning the video to only Sarah when she has stopped painting and is making a point. I will make sure to pass this idea onto our editors.

    First time I ever felt like I failed completely. I've walked away I've redone it twice. It's a red otter no matter what I do. I don't know how to make brown not look red

    • @LetsMakeArt
      @LetsMakeArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Brown can be hard to mix at first. Sometimes it helps to remember brown is a dark orange.

    I disagree with the name Charlie. The otter looks more like a Winston to me. Just saying.
