Audio Recording
To the aircraft's audio port I plugged in one Y cable. 1/4 male to two 1/4 female. To one end I attached a 1/4 male to 1/8 male converter, with the 1/8 male end plugged in my sound recorder (Sony ICD AX-412). The other 1/4 female port is used to plug in my headset audio cable).

That was great, the smoothest cessna landing I've ever seen.
I have flown the Cessna Skyhawk...very nice plane and responsive enough for the flying I used to do. As a student to new pilot I flew the not so newer planes....but hey...I didn’t care...I was FLYING. It is always fun and adventurous to fly to a new and different airport....most of the time the people who worked at the different airports were very friendly and helpful...a couple of times they even helped me turn the plane around at its parking spot before tying it down for the night. This video really brings back some fond, golden memories. Keep them coming. I really enjoy watching them and you guide us to very nice scenery and smooth landings. You are a credit to these type of videos...well done...very well done...Lare

Wow that plane is rusty. Look at the play on that yoke. Excellent video.
That's some nice flying. The pilot was alert, well-informed and knowledgeable, and did a very good job of controlling the airplane. Greasing the landing was, as all pilots know, just something you try for but rarely achieve.
FWIW my own training in the C172 involved much tighter patterns, typically 1/2-mile finals. As a post-commercial pilot my instructor made me fly descents and landings power off. Fun!

LOL...I was waiting for the touchdown bump....when in reality he landed like 10 seconds earlier haha. Now that's a smooth landing.

When I was learning my instructor would ask me when I turned final if I would make the runway if the engine quit. No way he makes the field in this video.

Good video. Reminds me of my SPL days many years ago on a Cessna 152. (I didn't get my SPL. Heck, I didn't even go solo. It was simply too expensive. Nevertheless, it was a great experience, hard landings and all!) The 172 is pretty similar to the 152, eh?

One of the Best Landings i"ve seen on the Net in a C172. Friend that was teaching me advised to try to avoid extending the Flaps in the Turn in the event that one Flap may extend quicker than the Other and may upset the turn, not sure if that is true or not, but excellent Video.

Very nice approach and landing! I was flying the C152 and the PA28 on the left side of the light aircraft apron to see Cyprus from above. Quite different from flying VFR in Germany - thanks for sharing!
