I remember as a kid loving the pigeons sketches, and then growing up a little and seeing Goodfellas and thinking “Ohhhh I get it now...”

I am in full agreement on your take on the relationship between the Warner’s and Dr Scratchansniff. Despite the kids driving him up the wall, the doc genuinely cared about the Warner’s beyond his role as the on studio therapist. For example: during the song “I’m Mad” He took them to a theme park. That’s not a part of his job, that’s him wanting to spend the day with the kids and have fun.
The Warner’s, who are used to be viewed as nuisances are touched by this sentiment and, while they do mess with him, it’s more in jest than a serious attempt to drive him insane.
Slappy Squirrel - The definition of anger, insanity, careless, slapstick and cartoon violence
Pinky and the Brain - Taking over the world and fail miserable was a heart of the sketch and the spinoff

Chicken Boo - The master of disguise gone horribly wrong
Goodfeathers - A mafia spoof of the goodfellas that get crushed & squished while looking for food.
Rita and Runt - to stray animals looking for a home.

I love a lot of these characters but my number 1 favorite is Wakko! Absolutely funny and never stops making me laugh.
Wakko really is the favorite Warner, i personally loved his belching musical numbers, not to mention "Potty Emergency!"

The parents being mischeviously jerks make sense if you count the main duo as a spoof to Marc Anthony and Pussyfoot
Most of the time Mindy slips away is when Buttons is sleeping, which makes me think 9 out of 10 times he catches her before she leaves the yard. He gets so exhausted from watching Mindy like a hawk every day he occasionally falls asleep and we get an Animaniac bit.
Yakko Warner he is the iconic and funniest character in all the series of The Animaniacs and I like their craziest and coolest songs in the show and he became a funniest meme in the world

Yakko is DEFINITELY my favorite character - he's funny, cheeky, a loving older brother, and is voiced by Rob Paulson (I adore this man, btw); what's not to love?

I really hope they put Slappy in the reboot’s second season. The show just doesn’t feel the same without her in my opinion.

In the special features on the DVD, Jess Harnell (Wakko's VA) said he auditioned with the voices of all four Beatles, and created a version of Ringo that the casting director loved. So that voice got him the role.

It's a bit of a crime that some castmates like Minerva, Rita & Runt, the Goodfeathers and even Hello Nurse have been excluded from the reboot...for now
i can see the point with "Hello" Nurse, but everyone else being left out is holding the reboot back, the controlled chaos of the original is what fans love.
Rita and runt definitely need to return they only appeared in the original season 1 and were a nice change of pace for yakko wakko and dots antics but the problem is Ritas voice actress and singer was expensive to keep in the past and she's not a easy character to write for either since rita only has original songs written for her.
The good feathers are okay but it's deffently a crime to not have slappy her cartoons are just as memorable as Pinky and the brain the good idea bad idea sketch should also return for the same reason as well that's a classic
I don't like Minerva but if she comes back I hope they make her more likable and relatable not just furry eye candy she's still a better choice than buttons and mindy though I always felt bad for the dog the real highlight of those cartoons was mindy calling her mother lady that's it yet that's still better than the new gnome sketch.
The nurse I'm mixed on I only saw her as a gag character did she have character development? 🤔
It makes sense that Minerva isnt in the reboot, especially in today's society. And hello nurse is too iconic to be removed. And the goodfeathers were hilarious. Rita and runt were always my favorite so I'd love to see them return

The voice actor that does Yacko does the countries of the world song in concert - IN ONE TAKE! He's extremely talented.
I hope these guys are in the new Space Jam in some way. It would be crazy for Warner Bros. to not take this opportunity.
I hope too. The Warner Bros. (and their Sister) once should have been the Mascots of the Warner Studio, but they are much too insane-y. So I hope the Warner Bosses are not resentful to them. 😉

Hello Nurse and Minerva Mink are polar opposites. One is skilled in just about everything and wants to be appreciated for more than just her looks, while the other constantly relies on nothing BUT her looks.
