There was an animaniacs episode in which Minera Mink meets a reversed werewolf: The wolf is a nerdish "Dweeb" normally but during the full moon he changes to a Handsome male wolf- Think male version of Minerva- and she is throwing herself at him, only to have him change back to dweeb a moment later. Finally she asks him about this and he sheepishly admits it happens every full moon. She replies that she'll wait for him.
And to think the adult jokes are one of the many things that made the original series interesting, but with how the censores are today the reboot probably won't be able to sneak as many.
Animaniacs was my childhood. I loved it growing up. I can't wait for the reboot. I'm curious to know not what they'll be able to get away with, but how much they'll be able to get away with.
My personal favorite is when they went to Hell. When Wakko realized where they were, he ran up a giant spiral staircase into the middle of a snow-covered field. Scooping up a mound of snow and fashioning it into a snowball, Wakko then runs all the way back down to Hell, drops the snowball on the ground, and watches it melt immediately. Wakko then turns to the camera and declares, "They were right: It didn't stand a chance!"

I used to watch the show with my daughters. When they were really young I'd just play the dances for them on the computer (Bruno was a little too...um...adult for them), but I let them see more & more of the show the older they got. For a couple of seasons, every time my younger daughter was allowed to stay up, her dancer (we each picked a different person every season) would be eliminated, so she stopped staying up. Then came the season when she chose Willow Shields. There was a vacation early in the season, but she said that she didn't want to stay up because she didn't want Willow to be eliminated. I told her, "Don't be silly. She's a great dancer, has gotten really good scores...there is NO WAY she's going to be eliminated tonight!" So, my daughter stayed up...and that was the night that Willow was eliminated!
