My grandpa was a commander in alitalia dc10, he was a commander on md11 b747 200 b777 and dc9
bless your grandpa and your family
For me, dc10s rarely arrive in their destination without any problems.
When did he die?
@@RobIoxNoobbro he probably retired and you concluded he’s dead nahhh
Thats offensive ngl@@RobIoxNoob
I remember flying in many DC-10 airplanes when I was a boy.
Lucky
Thank god you didn’t die.
Bro risked hus life
bro the dc10 isn’t that bad😭
American Airlines flight 19- *cough*
Garuda Indonesia also operated some DC-10s in the past
and flight GA 865 overruned and cradhed
Fun fact when Pan Am sold the Pacific routes to United Airlines, they acquired all of Pain Am Dc10s 747sp.
I miss the DC 10 and Pan Am 😢 good times…
I was able to see one yesterday! A fedx, so lucky to have been able to see one of them as their so rare now!
DC10 or MD11?
@@AKHUNTERX dc-10. I checked flight aware too.
Yup, FedEx still has a few left! They’re slated to be retired within a year or so though. Also can see the KC-10 (air refueler) occasionally, and an aerial firefighting company (10 Tanker) owns a couple.
PAL also in the Philippines have some DC-10's back then
DC 10🤝MD 11
Even sas
Yes
Please correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t Monarch have a few?
And Laker.
British Caledonian had a few I remember, flew Gatwick to the Canaries on one.
I think they later became the only ones operated in the colours of British Airways.
Swissair, like Iberia hat 14 DC 10s too
Flew on a NWA dc10-30 back In 02'
I later discovered most of their DC10-30 at that time was ex-swiss
I still got the picture In a binder at my parents apartment. But old film roll Is not that easy to decipher.
Cool
Bangladesh Biman were the last one who retired DC-10
Lufthansa cargo: *coughs*
Air France had DC-10 too
Make a video on MD11
RIP Continental
I mean technically it still exists??
I remember flying Capitol Air’s DC10 to San Juan. A carrier not mentioned much
What about Aer Lingus?
They leased some md11s due to an aircraft shortage before but no dc 10s
Other North American operators were AC, CP, AM, MX. I believe the Pan Am DC-10s came from National Airlines.
Ooops, not AC.
Do one for the MD-11
Malaysia Airlines use to operate 14 units of dc-10 in the past
I seen a Orbis Md10 in July
MD10*
Well, considering the size of the country involved, KLM with 23 DC-10's did pretty well considering it's only one twentieth the size of the US
KLM are majority international airline, and the DC10 is a long haul aircraft so why would that be special?
@@simondahl5437 country size seems to affect airline size.
@@roykliffen9674. Not if the country is in the EU…
I don't know where the 23 frames came from, KLM only operated 11 frames of which 2 never flew for KLM and 1 was leased from MP for a period in the late 80s.
And The Varig
Fun fact the pull up sounds like.... woop woop BALL UP
The DC-10 without the engine on the tail would look so good with 2 engines
What about Air France DC-10
Now defunct Canadian Airlines had some...
Grandpa loved the dc-10
It could also save your live when you’re contry is on fire
How any of these airlines didn’t go bankrupt is beyond me
Aren’t they still used for FedEx and UPS?
Bruh is Mcdonnel Douglas not just Douglas
Garuda had it and got pretty many
My granpa driver dc 10 before he retired the plane is garuda
That's the Dutch chamber
Canadian Airlines had 14 DC-10-30's
From europe also british airways had dc 10
Air new zealand had 2 dc10
Finnair: am i a joke to u??
Do the md11
Fun fact: the answer is FedEx lol
Fedex use md 11
WHAT ABOUT FEDEX
Why did last one seemed to be like crashing indeed
Did any airlines fly both the Boeing 727, and, DC 10 at the same time?
American
I thought md-11 mean McDonald-11☠️
Not only 727... You know tu 154?
You forgot Swissair.
HE FORGOT THE TWA ALSO HAD THE DC10
No
American Airlines AA 🦅
Singapore airlines left the chat
You forgot UK operators; British Caledonian and Laker.
I love dc 10💀💀💀💀💀
Let’s not forget the DC10 and Air France Flight 4590
And FedEx
Yes
You forgot Delta
Now it's only the 777s and the A350s
american 191
united 232
continental 55 (caused airfrance 4590)
idk
idk
idk
Air New Zealand 901
UTA 772
Western 2605
Martinair 495
FedEx 647
I would have flown in a DC-10 but only AFTER they repaired their cargo door.
Somalia Airlines had some DC10 in the 1980’s
What about Western and National?
How many did the Air Force have. Kc10
KLM didnt Have DC 10ns they had MD11ns
they used to have those.
British Airways flew the DC10.
Good
and how many DC-10 has FedEx?
FedEx is actually #1, having flown over 100 DC10s. Not including it’s MD11s.
Martinair had 5 DC 10's
Kc-10
I was wishing to fly with Swiss but there is no Swiss in indo :(
I don't know where the 23 KLM frames came from, KLM only operated 11 frames of which 2 never flew for KLM and 1 was leased from MP for a period in the late 80s.
I always wonder why the DC-10's tailcone is almost round, but the MD-11's tailcone are similar to the 777's tailcone.
Different series of CF6 engine, the 10s used the -6 and -50 while the 11s used the -80
What do you mean looks like MD 11!
No
You forgot malaysia airlines
That’s md11
Yeah I put half of my money on AA
I think the Airline that uses the most dc10 today is FedEx or UPS...
How many DC-10s did Finnair have?
Hmm yes doglus
I have a DC-10 from wish, here:✈️
Well, I guess it's a DC-8 with the four engines. Or the A340...?
Thats what ended up replacing lufthansas dc10s
It was even more fuel economical.
Cause of some many deaths…
Wut about FEDEX it it uses a lot of DC10
He forgot about British Caledonian. How many did they have?
DC-10 = Death chamber 10
Shut
I knew it was American it was always American
Who thought it was a good idea to crop this whole vid vertically ?
its in order to be uploaded as a TH-cam shorts, Instagram reels & TikTok combo
My immediate answer was American💀
But there was Philippine airlines?
Fedex
What’s Iberia doing?
Didn’t Eastern Airlines have a ton of DC-10’s?
I used to be a flight attendant for American Airlines a long time ago. I should know the answer to this, but is the L-1011 the same as the DC-10?
🌴☀️🌴
NO! I loved the L1011. My fav aircraft to this day.
Nope! In fact despite physically being similar with their three engines, they were totally different aircraft, especially from a technological standpoint. EA only had 3 DC-10s, they favoured the TriStar with 66 units
🤗
American.
Fact: dc-10 was called the flying death like there were alot of dc-10 crashing back in the day like united 191 and fedex 80
Most dangerous aircrafts
No turkish airlines???
The infamous Death Cruiser 10
Dancing Coffin 10
more like death chamber 10 💀
Incomplete
