I just want all three of you to know that I quietly watch your videos here in Buenos Aires and for me they are a wonderful escape and breath of fresh air. I don't normally comment, but I'd like to say thanks for the wonderful videos and wish you all the best from Buenos Aires!🤗
The phrase we used to use was "as big as a babies leg" But hey what is a different limb between friends. Keep up the great and very enjoyable productions.👍
I stumbled across your videos and have been hooked . Over here in the northwest US we have nothing like that . Your well edited videos along with tasteful music and a good sense of humor make watching them very relaxing . I also have learned a lot about canals and narrow boats along with a touch of history . Thank you gents for all the work you put in .
I have binge watched since Friday. What I love most is the aerial views with a small bit of history- most of all I love to hear Shaun laugh after a joke.
You look like a happy crew in this vid, Sean laughing about Colin's jokes. Nice scenery and you definitely spent that day Kira came by well, editing this vlog!
The fleur de lys pies are incredible, as is the Sunday roast in that pub. And, if you can’t get a table but are on a boat, they will give you a carry out so that you can still enjoy their amazing food. Great vlog gents - thank you 😊
I know this vlog was a while ago but I watched it for the first time today and you could see my family’s boat at Kingswood and it made me so happy to see!!
Oh you lovely fellas.....this was just pure balm over a storm and snot covered country! Thank you! Loved the vlog and accompanying music......just bliss....l.you’ve made my Saturday morning. Lots of love. 😘😘😘😘😘

We've actually gone back in time and started watching over again. Love Shauns laugh! The two of you bring so many laughs to us all and for that, we thank you! Tim and Tammie

Keep heading south fellas , only 22000 locks to get to the beautiful Basingstoke Canal. It's not that long though , about the length of a babies arm. Keep up the good work.
@@FoxesAfloat if you do make the Basingstoke Canal and fancy treating yourselves to a cracking Sunday Lunch. I recommend the Heron on the Lake at Fleet, bit expensive but great place.

As always well worth getting up at midnight to watch the vlog. Gosh there were some very. Scenic shots. And that bakery...I am thankful it is a hemisphere away. Looking forward to Strathford.
Did you notice the house on the left after lock 21 with the curved barrel roof. There’s another at Lowsonford. There are several of these along this stretch of the Stratford on Avon Canal. It is said that they were built for canal workers, re-using the timber centring (supports like shuttering for concrete) used to support the brick arches of the bridges during construction. A bit of 18th/19th century recycling perhaps.
Thank you for the peek into the bakery. The baked goods look better than what I remember seeing during my 1987 visit to the U.K. It is the journey that is important, and delicious baked goods are part of the journey.
Great Vlog lads. I watched one of your earlier vlogs a while ago regarding mental health. Very honest and brave, wearing your heart on your sleeve. Been there myself before, not very nice experience. Great travels wherever you go and best wishes, Jason & Emma!!

THERE'S the Muttley laugh, at 17:14, but there is smoke involved. :-) A Q for a future Q&A: Do you ever worry that canal you-tubers will cause their own problems by bringing more doofuses to the canals, especially with future lock-downs? Have you thought about making a "Getting started with a canal boat" series that might focus on etiquette particular to specific places? Maybe short-attention span things, 10 mins or so, focused. Like talking to others who are moored around particular locks to arrange going together, the importance of going slowly through particular stretches, or tipping volunteers with a cup of coffee or what. You both seem very sensitive to others' needs, and you'd be the perfect ones to have that kind of series. Thanks for all!

Foxes Afloat ~Yes I think I got in trouble as my ‘Comment’ didn’t get published. It had, admittedly, some smutty innuendo and may or may not have referenced Mrs Slocombe’s cat.
Brilliant video, as always. A visit to that amazing bakery is reason alone for another trip to England. So happy you were safe during that storm. You two are just the best!! Greetings from California.
I noticed some cut logs beside the canal at 2.30, are you allowed to take them for the fire ? Also it might be a silly question, but why are the locks so close together
Yeah, most of the time you can take the logs (Unless it's on private land). The locks are close together to make them easier to work. The person doing them can walk from lock to lock.
Port side, hurmf, port is always on the left side of the pointy end of the boat, when looking towards the pointy bit from the blunt end or stern. This is irrespective whether you looking forward or backwards. So the Christmas tree factory was on your starboard side. Just saying, use it, or dont use it.
Strange thing those xmas trees (to the south :-) ) never seem to grow .... every springtime they still seem to be the same size they were last year... wonder why?
You are correct - the trees were on their starboard side - but as Colin said "Your port", so he was correct, as the trees were indeed on the left/port/red light side of our screens.
