'A special Christmas Dinner surrounded by all of your friends' eh? You will need a very large turkey as there are at least 65.3k of us. Thanks again for a great vlog, Take care and stay safe.
Every time I get to the end of one of your vlogs, I think, "That can't have been 20 minutes!" You always leave me wanting more - more humor, more history, more of Colin's wry humor, more of Shaun's warm laughter, more gorgeous scenery, and of course, more Otis! Great job, guys!
Beautiful cruise today gents. It's a dreary day here in Connecticut. Thanks for the sunshine. 😃 Otis is so cute looking over the side. :) Till next time. Xoxoxo
I just wanted to tell you both how much I enjoy your videos. You’ve become such a part of my Friday routine that I stop and watch as soon I see you’ve put up your weekly video. The gorgeous photography and bits of history are such a pleasure and the two of you seem to truly enjoy life and each other...and of course Dillon and now Otis are just adorable. 🙂 Take care and have a safe trip to your winter destination.
We love you both here 🤍 So happy to have found your channel. You are my favourite ‘program’ to watch after I’ve finished work. You soothe the ever turning cogs in my noggin 😃 love to you both and Otis, keep on keeping on 🌟
I should think that your journey's, videos and commentary should be part of everyone's viewing that have their roots in the British Isles. It is so wonderful!
Your videos are always such a great watch, thank you again. Otis is growing fast and is just adorble. The history of the canals is always interesting and such good news that even the older ones are being looked after. Mum loves Otis.
Great video today. I enjoyed it immensely. As usual I learnt a lot more about canal life. Hope you manage to keep to your schedule. Keep safe guys. Love to Otis. 👍👍🐕🐕😃😃
Lol. They are just grabbing the fishing line. 🤣 I love Shauns response and laugh when you call him out for forgetting his line or anytime your being funny. You both have such a great sense of humor.
Love your channel and all u do but love especially how u respond to everyone who leaves u a comment u don't know how much that means it really makes u feel apart of what u two r doing thank u so much
Another wonderful vlog gents, thank you. I do so enjoy joining you on your travels and finding out the history of the places you visit - you make it all look so easy, but I know there are many, many hours go into producing these. Otis is growing so quickly! He’s got a very characterful and expressive face too. Hope your arm gets better soon Colin, and you get a good rest too Shaun!
I stumbled across your channel a couple of days ago & am now hooked! I've been having a binge watch of your wonderful videos. You were in my neck of the woods with this and your previous video. I love all the historical facts you provide. After 35 years of living here, you educated me on things I never knew about this area! So thank you & keep up the great work 🙂
Hi Guys from a sunny France. I have done the equivalent to blacking my bottom😉 Antifouling done, all 13m of it. Spent the rest of the week sailing. Otis in a lift (think about it😁🤔). No Colin, I was dragged up proper. Straight from the fingers into the mouth please🤔🥺. Another great vlog guys. Good to see Otis paying attention. Wine time😁
Love Fridays, come home from a volunteer job, my husband makes me a brew (cup of tea), then I switch you guys on, and sit back and relax. You guys are like a " tonic". We live on the Rideau canal in Ontario, check it out!
Woohoo, finally crossed paths with you this afternoon as you passed Weston Hall. I stuck my head out the hatch and wished you well. Love your work 👍 NB Smithy.
Colin, hope you’re having a good week! You’re in my thoughts and prayers! As Monty Python would say, “ always look on the bright side of your life! Doo! Doo!” Song stuck in your head now? You’re welcome!
In Canada we call that “playing chicken “ when two vehicles are heading directly towards each other, who is going to turn away first. Otis is adorable as usual and growing up quick. Love you guys and always look forward to your adventures. Be safe 🇨🇦💞
Those aqueducts are really amazing. Thanks for the aerial shots of Silver Fox going over one. Your history lessons are alway interesting and educational. Otis is so cute. Lovely cruising again. Thanks!
oh yes we go on the M1 regularly, trips to london for my medical treatment, from outside marple to london , takes us five hours one way but longer to get to central london then park at edgeware then get underground to euston , one hell of a trip both ways in a day ! we have two siamese at home ! otis is getting bigger now bless him x gosh love the silver statue ! i worked for the railway as a nurse and i had fabulous footplate trips , the gentleman drivers which is what they were if i left the clinic they would stand up until i sat down , fabulous manners but this went both ways , i loved my blue collar workers , it was a pleasure helping them ! great guys stay safe ! my love liz x
Thanks guys, Another entertaining vlog! My wife and I are off to hire a boat on the Norfolk broads for a week. We'll try not to drive into too many banks/bushes! 😂
Lovely vlog as always and also great to see my old local pub The Navigation at Cosgrove after nearly 50 years since I left the area , it has changed a fair bit !
Thanks for the visit guys. Always nice to see Otis, and spend a few minutes just relaxing with my narrowboat mates. Stay safe and keep being your awesome selves.
Nice chin rest. Otis won't get neck fatigue watching as things go by! Thanks again for a mini vacation in the English country side! The best part is sleeping in my own bed at night. No trip fatigue either 😃
Hi guys, another awesome upload, just love you brilliant banter all the way through your cruising video,l I,like the history of the canal,so interesting to listen to,⭐️👍tony
Cruised that way a lot when our share boat was based at Gayton Marina. Milton Keynes is lovely by boat. We love Stoke Bruerne, especially the Indian restaurant. Brought back good memories.
There's no need to worry about giving an unexpected wave. My old Dad only had one eye and other chaps would mistake his closed non eye for a deliberate wink. Back before our currently (slightly) enlightened personal freedoms, Dad would get lots of unexpected winks. He quite liked the attention. Maybe the fishermen like the attention too. I often answer people in the street only to discover they're talking on the phone.
Another great vlog. You guys have put a smile on my face after a long day at work. With all the things going on in the world at the moment, you are a breath of fresh air. Thank you guys. Have a great week. Already looking forward to next week. ❤️
I'm not sure how I found this channel, but my little boy loves watching foxes afloat while he tucks into his tea. He's only 16 months, but he can sit and watch your videos for ages.
Thanks for another great video. I have finally realised that I will not see my Country again so your and other bloggers bring my Country to me. Helps prevent the depression I get when those negative thoughts become real.
Love your channel and always entertaining ... Otis is growing so fast, a lovely shot of him looking over the side divider he needs a porthole on that side as well .... thank you I always look forward to your post.
Hi guys that was great really cheered me up, Colleen your innuendos are getting worse but more funny keep going with them, I must ask in the next Q&A Shaw what you're tattoos on the outside of your calf, Otis is starting to get so big already love him, stay safe guys and god bless 🐶🦊💜🍻xx

I've got to agree with you Michelle, in a world dominated by trash talk and negativity it's so refreshing to just watch 2 wonderful guys enjoying what they are doing. Great history lessons too! I paddle board many of the canals around Lincolnshire, have you a vlog on any of those?
A lovely upbeat video today, really cheerful and so thanks fellas. I know you shoot these a couple of weeks in advance (behind?) so a great reminder of the great weather we had until recently. Take care, have fun. 😊
I always wondered why you didn't want to tell where you were - but I have figured it out! You have groupies chasing you all over England and you are trying to deter such behavior - can't say as I blame you. Happy Canals!
You lick the...now that's just weird! Now, lucky little Otis, every day is the greatest adventure of his life! He's so funny looking at everything as you cruise the canal. He's definitely a part of the Silver Fox team now. Great show guys, keep up the good work!
ive watched a few other Narrow Boat bloggers...there is one guy who is constantly on the verge of tears and depressed and somehow his story was filmed and is on TV now in the states...anyway wanted to say you guys have the best blog, good information, nice shots, good drone work and of course Otis. LOVE IT!
Ah, thanks, John. We get a lot of TV offers but it's just not worth losing control of our content. We enjoy this too much to let someone else call the shots 😉
Colin - Disregard Shaun's opinion; I love the way your mind works. You seem to be an imaginative and creative bloke with a admirable sense of wonder. A beautiful video. Otis needs an official title aboard Silver Fox. He can be the Director of Cuteness. 😊
I think there's an irony in that boats name, " jimsonweed." Might need to change it to "Jimsintheweeds" 😂😂 can't believe how big Otis is getting, funny to see him keeping a lookout. Have a great week, stay safe & well as always.
Another insightful vlog. Just love the bits of history you throw in there Colin. Keep up the great work. And, hopefully your Christmas plans work out. Cheers
Yep. I rewound and listened twice to be sure. You said "moats boored" again for "boats moored." I think I've heard you say this once before some-when. I'm not complaining, correcting or criticizing (I worked for that alliteration), so, don't get mad at me; I live for these malapropisms.
'A special Christmas Dinner surrounded by all of your friends' eh? You will need a very large turkey as there are at least 65.3k of us. Thanks again for a great vlog, Take care and stay safe.
You got that right!
I prefer goose for Christmas dinner.
Thanks for the great vlogs . We watch quite a few narrowboat videos and you guys are the best hands down .

I think so too!

Another great vlog guys. It looks so pretty cruising along. Otis is too cute for words.
Thanks so much! 😊 He is 🥰
The reason why that boat crashed was written on the stern. "Jim's On Weed"
I wonder if the hire firm will notice this? 😂
Otis is growing so fast! He is so cute standing up with his little head hanging over the side and watching everything!💜

He really has, although he's a proper terror at the moment!
Brilliant as usual, you two make me smile.

Appropriately named boat... nearly, or actually. Jim's on Weed, or Jim's in Weeds (not that there's anything wrong with that here, or in reality).
