So my CGM makes me itch beyond reason. Barrier patches were suggested for me to try. If I'm allergic to the adhesive on the CGM, wouldn't I be allergic to the adhesive on the barrier patch?

They may use different styles of adhesive, which may be less irritating.
A hydrocolloid bandage is likely to be even better for a barrier and irritation free.

@@martinaerickson7092 we used a specific hypoallergenic 3M adhesive that was FDA approved for sensitive skin. My best advice is to try one without the cgm and see how it goes. Never use with a CGM until you know.
