Great hunt there! Quite the haul of nice horse tack buckles! Most likely was a farm previously. Most everywhere was a farm previously outside of the original core settlements! Some nice silvers still coming out after being pounded so much! Others may have targeted deeper signals and skipped over those later silvers. Funny, I have never dug a mackerel dime before but am probably getting close after pulling 2 ‘68 dimes in an area I’m working on. Cool pulling that silver from under a pulltab! In parks, I usually disc. out everything below 18 but have been revisiting spots at the old park where I pulled some real squeakers and there are zero high tones left. Dug a KG6 penny from under a 13-14 that was a pulltab so will have to do that more in those areas. Cool Merry Widows! Looks like it might have got lawnmowered. Take care, ATB and happy hunting!

At least the mackerel is a good find, I have not found one yet, I would love to find all the centennial coins.
