TH350 Gearbox OIL and FILTER change - How hard can it be?

It's easy to change your auto transmission oil and filter. Let me show you how!
I needed to replace the gearbox oil and filter on my 1980 Pontiac Grand Le Mans as i had quite a bad leak the car to take a few seconds to take up drive when selecting a gear.

Cheers for this video mate, given me confidence to do this to my TH350. In the UK also so it's good to know filters aren't hard to get hold of for this transmission.

Is the transmission ok now? Sealant around the filter is not a good idea.

Hi Mark was the transmission oil leaking at the sump where they had put the sealant. Also strange there was not a drain plug
on the gearbox sump, cost cutting, or perhaps the Yanks don't belive in auto gearbox service.

Yeah it was I think the Americans were ahead of the rest of the world when I came to sealed for life gearboxes
