this is so beautiful, cafe 1930 is an amazing piece, my most listened to spotify track of the last six months is this piece, if you cant tell im only slightly in love, slightly being an understatement.
I keep coming back to this video after making the rounds on TH-cam. Unfortunately, none of them do this piece justice. By far, the best rendition of this piece in existence.
@@madrone33 I have seen that version as well. However, I enjoy Duo KeMi's performance much much more. Starting with the opening guitar intro being just incredible with a fluid tempo and rubati, full of artistic expression. When Daniel comes in, his tone, bow speeds, contact point and vibrato is just right. The duo just feels very tight, the level of comfort with the piece and completeness as a work in their repertoire is clear...right to the very last decibel of sound they produce.
@programxxx Tu as fait exactement ce que tu reproche au monsieur au dessus. Lui qui ne donnait que son avis personnel, lequel par définition est subjectif. Bravo pour la performance, génie !
The sounds were so deep and transparent and beautiful melancholy. I hear your live performance in seaside of korea was so different captivating feeling.
I have listened this video so many times. Musically speaking I don't need to say anything more. But as far I can remember this is the only version I have found in which the players use no score. Ovation to Duo KeMi, and gardens for Piazzolla.
Well, Astor Piazzolla went in Paris to study composition with the famous Nadia Boulanger... and you're right : it sounds suddenly a bit like Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli....
Bravissimo! A beautiful, thoughtful, reminiscent but melancholy and lonely work with a European feel. Great duo! Hope to play this as soon as I find a guitarist!
Well, if you play without amplifying the guitar, the sound of flute and guitar are easier to distinguish, more balanced. The violin easily blows away the guitar. I am pretty sure that in this recording the volume of the guitar has been 'lifted' a bit, which is ok of course.
So who's here because of the sadist sunsprite's Eulogy :3 *I love the video* But mostly I love the music x Me:*tried to play this in my guitar* *Guitar 4th string broke* Also me:*bruuuuuuuuuuuuh*
Ayyyy I’m here from that too. I’ve been looking at all the covers, I like this one just as much as the other one tbh. Also props to you trying to learn this on guitar that shit hard as balls. Honestly I’d love to learn it but I don’t know if I have the capacity for it lmao.
@@sillylillisingss6066 yep, it's a grade 8 price and hard as shit. My guitar teacher told me that they teach it at uni sometimes lmao. I'm still trying to learn it in time for my GCSEs because why not lmao, but Im not banking on it lol. Especially since I've just started grade 5 classical. If I do somehow learn it in time I'll probably only do the first 3 mins because that sounds like a song all on its own
@@dgcfgvvgb6555 ayyyyy good on you dude. I wish you all the luck on your grade 5 as well I never got to do any guitar exams, just self taught. But I know they’re scary from having to do piano grade 3. But yes I hope you do well :)
This is a rollercoaster of emotions. Beautiful
It is melancolic, sad, happy, hopeful..wants to explain something to me.. I love this...I feel like I'm somewhere beautiful and old....
I'm sad, alone, lonely, and at the same time, passionately in love . . .
take me, hurt me, roll me, play me
Don't be ;)

I just love this duo. Light and shade, gentle, strong, rain and sunshine.

Agreed
Have you heard the version by alexandra whittingham and esther abrami? It's also very good, definately worth a look!

the coordination between the violinist and the guitarist is just amazing. You two make beautiful, evoking music which can be hard to find nowadays.
1:51 My favorite part
Mine too
Quite a sad bit too, because if you watched the animatic by sad-ist it’s the part where Mumza dies I believe
@@rav_aanair9431 yes..indeed

Piazzola would be proud
So much talent!! Thanks guys!
Ah, so beautiful...
La mejor versión, la intensidad precisa, y la armonía entre los 2 instrumentos es increíble. Bastante química, lo que se necesita en un dúo.
Beautiful!
Piazzolla, the only one
