I'm with you on the rear wiper. I haven't seen or driven an Estate, Hatch or SUV in the UK that can keep it's rear screen clear of road grime - especially at this time of year. The MG may clear the moisture (once you get up to 50-60mph) but the road grime will remain. Apart from actually wanting to see out of the rear screen of my car, I use front & rear dash cams so a clean rear screen is needed for a decent picture. No rear wiper seems to be a "design trend" with some cars lately which needs to stop. Before long they will be deleting the front wipers for the same reason!! I would also add to your list of dislikes, no grab handles, no rear passenger lighting (very dark in the back) & no rear centre seat headrest - so anyone using it as a taxi can only carry 3 passengers (taxi's must have head rests for all passenger seats). No option for a sunroof either to brighten up that dark interior (available in other markets I believe). Also, why no Standard range Trophy model? Not everyone needs the big battery. And on the subject of batteries, the SE standard range has an LFP battery so why no LFP battery for the long range model? LFP batteries are inherently much safer. Heated seats & steering wheel (N/A on SE model) should be standard on every EV to minimise the use of the main cabin heater & maximise range. Even more so if there is no heat pump - which the UK MG4 does not have. I like the MG4 but it has been built to a price & this shows with some some strange spec choices & omissions.
@@RoadandRacetv changes you’ve made, things you’d change after a few years in the space, how it was to heat, what you’ve managed to do since having the space and lift. How the structure itself has held up and preventative maintenance you’ve done to the building. New tools would be nice too if you’ve got time.

As for a video idea... how about a "The gloary that is the M57 Diesel engine" in the age where anything Diesel is being unjustly vilified, to showcase how keeping an aging car (be it pertol or diesel) is far more ecologicaly sound rather than the unafordble, not so ecologically sound alternatives we're all being coerced into.

FWIW the auto-high-beam works pretty well in my SE SR; certainly no worse than in my previous Insignia 🤷♂ And the MG4 doesn't need a rear wiper ... the air flow clears moisture off the screen, and the rear spoiler stops grime getting flung up onto the screen.
@@RoadandRacetv Yes, same here. It should overall be a cheaper experience, with a lot less maintenance and less things that can break. But so much is going on in the EV space that I will try to let my old BMW E61 525d LCI Steptronic from 2007 continue as long as economically feasible. It isn't worth much due to the 256.000 miles driven, and doesn't depreciate much over a year. Of cause almost exclusive DIY repair and maintenance at this age and mileage, keeping it well away from the stealers

@@curioussand1339 Yeah, same for me. The E61 is still so good and costs almost nothing to keep it going.
I know it's probably petty of me, but it just fails so badly on the 'would you have it on your drive test'. Such contrived styling...
