    WGJKKWGJKF! Wow, the analogy is perfect. Now, Jagraj Singh Ji, please make the 'Jedi Analogy'.. this is the true analogy that nobody outside of Sikhi knows about, that Khalsa are the closest the world has every come to Jedi Knights...

    • @preetishere297
      @preetishere297 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Jim Gavioli WGKKWJKF, I DONT HAVE ANY INFORMATION ON THAT COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT IT PLEASE,

      +manu rai Well, friend, you would basically have to either watch the Star Wars movies or read the books (better) but in a nutshell, it seems to me George Lucas pattered the Jedi on Khalsa. Look at some of the attributes of Jedi: Saint-soldiers, protectors of the innocent and weak, martial arts training, Jedi Code of Conduct (compare to Rehat Maryada) jedi-code.tripod.com/code.htm ; Jedi Knighting Ceremony/Amrit Sanchar; Always mindful and aware of The Force (i.e., Waheguru analogy); instantly recognizable by appearance and clothing (Jedi Robes, Khalsa '5K'); Self Control. Jedi and Khalsa are masters of self control. I could go on, I believe the analogy is valid and I believe Khasla and Sikhi are the inspiration and model of the Jedi Knights of Star Wars.

    • @preetishere297
      @preetishere297 8 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Ok..... now I got it.....and ya its a perfect analogy....

      Kaur Ji, I think you have to be a fan of both Star War and Sikhi to really see the analogy. What do you think, am I right or am I crazy...

    Hi Veerji,
    That was a very interesting and enlightening video. I learnt alots about Sikhism from this video and as you said we are not really taught these things in gurdwara.
    Thank you for your message. Much appreciated.
    I have experienced Nam myself a while ago and it left tears in my eyes, but I didn't understand why that happened or what it meant, until now.
    Thanks.

    Hume dirag roog hai daroo bhi is mahi.
    Hume, a sense of being separate. You can only truly love someone when you have sense of being separate from him/her because that creates a desire to have. Once you are in true love that sense of separation is lost along with any desire, you don't want it cuz you have become itself. So you find the cure within the sickness. It is a beautiful message from guru sahib.

    It`s uncanny how similar Sikhi is to Santo Daime in its teachings and philosophy.
    Because they`re mystical, spiritual.
    I always interpreted Matrix in the same way but with a different perspective, a "mystical christian" point of view.

    i was just thinking earlier today that if I get married, I cant completely trust my wife to always be there with me: people get divorces all the time, if there is something she doesn't like, she will leave. My parents will depart after they've completed their time on Earth. Therefore there is nothing in this world that would always keep me company. And then the thought that Nam would always be there with me comforted me, so i'll keep doing Nam Simran and cherish the time I utilize for remembering God's Name: because God will always be there with me, and that way i'll never feel vulnerable, because God through his Nam (Name) will always keep me company. it made me feel very comforted, and make the daring conclusion that this world doesn't even matter. "kis nal kichey dosti, sab jag chalan har" (who do I make my friend in this world, everyone is bound to leave me)
