    Fixed the problem of not spinning! Thanks!

    Thanks for the video! Everything I’ve read is that when it doesn’t spin and water comes out of the middle.. a gasket broke. But I think it just needed some lubrication. Saved me buying a new one 🙏

    I bought one of these, used on on my large deck once. I am a journeyman tool and die maker and am very good mechanical skills. My suggestion is to look at the spinner, if the internals look like these don’t buy it. I think the commercial ones are much better but are much more expensive for most of us home owners. Hard to find a rental place that rents surface cleaners.

    Good Video, however Petroleum Jelly will deteriorate Rubber O-rings...Advise that you use a Silicone type grease to not compromise the rubber material.

    If a model like this caught an uneven surface and one of the nozzles is now out of alignment, is that fixable?

  • @shayharper

    I have lubricated mine and it spins well by hand. When I add the pressure it seems to lock up at in the middle. Do you know what would cause this and possibly how to resolve?

    Pop it out after every use? Isn't that a bit overkill?

    • @Smurphenstein
      @Smurphenstein 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      These things have a known, serious problem. A relative just got a package dealmof a gas waterblaster with this included. Lasted 40 minutes and stopped spinning. I suppose it's not overkill but rather keeping it running in some cases.

    Hey man I just got one myself, appreciate the DIY service but how do you unclog those tips?

    • @alejandroc1119
      @alejandroc1119 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @Rene Hernandez I found out how, you get pliers and unscrew the tips clockwise, I didn’t know they come out. When you take them off, get a piece of wire and stick it though until it’s clean, before you piece all together make sure you put WD-40 on the bigger peice so it can spin like it shows in the video.

    Hi,
    Do you think the nozzle tips on this dewalt surface cleaner can be upgraded for a larger pressure with (3.0 or 4.0) GPM?

    • @pascopowerproducts7330
      @pascopowerproducts7330  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most likely. You can also find a different nozzle to reduce the angle range for more pressure

    • @michaelc7283
      @michaelc7283 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pascopowerproducts7330
      Do you know or is there any label on the nozzle tips to see what size it comes with?

    • @pascopowerproducts7330
      @pascopowerproducts7330  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It should be by color. Some may also have imprints on them for the sizing of course, for the angle anyway

      @michaelc7283 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@pascopowerproducts7330
      Oh, i think I'm confusion you. Not on the pressure washer on the bottom of the round surface cleaner. It has two nozzle tips on the rotary bar.

    • @pascopowerproducts7330
      @pascopowerproducts7330  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yeah I think it’s still the same thing. Maybe see if you can change the rotary part? The nozzle should be your best bet, but maybe look into the actual pressure washer nozzle itself

      I am planning to buy this pressure washer surface cleaner but the reviews did mention that it gets clogged or stops running after very little use. I think it might have to do with it being dirty inside. I would just disassemble, clean and lubricate, I guess. If the one I buy ends up getting messed up, I will try to fix it, or just return it for a refund.

      I've learned my lesson from my very first surface cleaner(Didn't know much then). After the fact the wands stopped spinning, adding lubricant helps. Eventually, over a few uses, it gave up and i purchased a new unit and before using it, I opened the shaft and lubricated it as a preventative.
