Mr. Saad is 100% correct with everything said here. My grandfather’s family came from Syria. They had to fled Syria and moved to Israel because it was too dangerous for them there. My step father’s family are Egyptian Jews, they also had to leave Egypt and moved to Israel. Lots of my friends from Israel are Jews from Lebanon, Egypt, Morocco, turkey, Iran and more, all had to fled these countries and move to Israel.
Same story in Indian subcontinent. Hindus had to flee from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh and today hardly any Hindus are left in these countries

One of the things I like about living in Mexico is that no one plays the woke victimization games here. We recently had a massive influx of Venezuelan & Haitian migrants. They’re expected to adapt to our culture and speak Spanish, or they will not be successful. People will not work with them or treat them the same as those who do adapt to the culture. When I was a girl growing up in America, people would think I was mean for expecting people to speak English and not Spanish. When I moved to Mexico in my 20s, I found that Mexicans had the same expectations that I did with their own language. I had to learn Spanish within the first couple years and I had to speak it fluently meanwhile, I know a lot of taxi drivers and butchers who lived in the United States for a decade or more and don’t speak any English, because there is no standard for assimulation in the United States and people coddle you instead of raising their expectations of you and making you adapt and conform to the culture. to the extent that Americans can conform to anything 🙃

That’s Ok. As an Israeli (though I live in the U.S. now) I am all for the Jewish State. I am a product of it and am proud of it. What I am not for are settlers stealing land from people who have lived there for 50 years. I am not for bullying Palestinians farmers out of their homes and confiscating their lands. That’s not a small issue (I used to think it is but it’s not). That’s not how a Jewish State should be built. And we are not talking 1948 but 2024.

A good place to start is with Secular Jihadists for a Muslim enlightenment. Sarah Haider, Maajid Nawaz, Armin Navabi and Imam Tawhidi are all good resources for criticism of Islam from both the reformist and exmuslim lense.

Having said that Toms first question is embarrassingly ignorant about the history of Jews in the region and the creation of nation states in the 19th century. None of the countries in that region except Egypt existed before 1921. Between WW1 & 2 a great many countries were born as the shift of power after the fall of the Ottoman Empire began to move to what is now called ‘The West’

There is a lot I want to say addressing his points, but I will just urge to please read what Isreali historians like Ilan Pape and Shlomo Sand have written to have a better understanding. Please have an interview with Islamic figures like Omar Sulieman and Hamza Yusuf, or have an interview with Jewish scholars like Avi Shlaim (an Israeli historian) and Norman Finkelstein. Check out interviews and lectures of Edward Said. I find what your honorable guest said here is mostly inaccurate and, in fact, filled with bigotry and only supporting the false narrative zionsts want the world to believe.

Are you suggesting that the centuries-old, ongoing, often violent, expansion of the Islamic World can be explained away in terms palatable to the majority in the West or Far East? Really?
