Nice video. Why did you use mango bags only for glen mango? I noticed that there were no bags used for other types of mangos in your garden

Used bags to protect the fruits from sun burn. I lost about 5 mango fruits to sun burn as of now this season. Temps are around 110 to 117 this summer.

I covered all mango fruits with bags that were exposed to the sun, including Glenn mangoes.

@@TheNaveed787 I see . Sorry to hear about sun burn. Here we use bag in commercial orchards to avoid damages from fruit fly as well as improve the skin colour of the mango. There is a vatiety called "Tom EJC" that gives beautiful yellow mamgo when it covered. If not it will remain green. Bags can make huge difference in fruit quality

Ok, good to know. Thanks for the tip on the bags. Are the bags open from the bottom or fully closed?. I cut the bags from the bottom to keep the airflow. Or should I keep the bags fully closed?

@@TheNaveed787 In comercial orchards they use bags fully closed. You can get some idea watching this.

I don't have experiance with fruiting mango plants. But I have used bottom opened polythene bags for guava. I think it depends on the material of the bag made.
