I've been playing with how I address these muscles lately and you've given me some new things to try out! Really appreciate the quality of content you put out!
As a masseur, I observed her fingers movement is terrific ... I was watching in the very details and trying to learn... Her technique looks smoother and better than shiatsu in practice
i love rebel because my hands look a lot like hers. i used to hate them when i was younger, i wanted slender fingers, almond shaped nailed, and tiny wrists like my mom but now i love my hands and the power within them :)
When I tell a therapist that I want the muscles along my spine and my lower back/hips to be the focus this is what I want. I never get anything remotely like this. It is SO frustrating to pay massage therapy prices and never get what I ask for.
Yes, that's why communication with the client is so important. As a therapist I work with my client to find the right muscles, or the right spots. That's a mistake I did as a beginner. It's much easier to work together, than just to 'pretend' you know.
Yes!! I am even detailed when I've said it. But I did find a therapist who gets into muscles I didn't know I had. She explained since they are connected where I feel the pain isn't always where the root of the problem is. So I guess that was good enough for me. I don't go often enough though. Not sure why🤔 Anyways this massage looks like exactly what I want/need.
There's a visual difference from the side that you work on vs the other side as you keep working. So many new tips I pick up from watching your vids. Thank you. Can't wait to try some of this with my client this weekend.
Thank you for these videos. I am a massage therapist myself, and your videos are a valuable source of knowledge. Unfortunately, there is very little training available for deep tissue massage in France, making it challenging for us to acquire such skills.
My left side of my mid back has been swollen and tight for to many years now and its very painful.Recently i was diagnosed with arthritis and spinal stenosis so that doesn't help pain is only on my left side.Anyway great video and you seem very skilled.
Hey there 😊 first things first, I love your vids. You've helped me and inspired me more than I can tell you in my own massage so thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ I received my license in January of this year and I was just curious about your opinion on tens units as self care?
Is this massage ok if you've had a laminectomy to the T10 & 11? I have severe numbness from my hips to my toes & nerve damage around the hips/butt & groin. I have SI pain, psoas & pelvis pain. Thank you.
This looks great. When I say I want my lower back and along my spine to be the focus this is what I would like to receive, yet it never is. I don't know why it's so hard to find a good massage therapist here.
Always learning more from your demonstration. This is such a neglected routine. I'm definitely going to get family n friend to be my models God bless you for ur unselfish knowledge N 2 thumbs down!! Really???
I need help. Just started massage and work at a spa. I'm ok but need more feedback and need more training. Do you have any suggestions? Btw, my funny bone hurts from doing deep tissue.
Former athlete (with all due respect, lol) by chance?? I ask cause we have a very similar "massage-style...." Either way, always great to watch your vids. Thx for your time.
Love this video but I believe you are going very deep into the trapezius - multifidi, you don't want to go to deep whereas you interrupt the natural guarding. Also, bad posture could occur from over massaging and going into deep taking away protection. Now that you have done this you could do some resistance in Trapezius, I did see you do that but you were working on the muscle already. So, you warmed up the muscle and interrupted the protection. You could have stretched the client after warming deeply but not use deep work. I hope this does not make you angry I want you to win. Anyway, God bless and otherwise good job.
Is there a name for the way you have her activate the erectors and then sink deeper when she relaxes? Im trying to call it Post isometric relaxation with compression?
There's nothing like getting a massage from an experienced & attentive massage therapist!!!!
I'm 6 years in & I'm in love with this women's videos
Very nice work! And agreed!

Definitely!
I wish more massage therapists had such excellent anatomical knowledge and techniques!

Me too...
As a masseur, I observed her fingers movement is terrific

amazing video! so many massage therapists neglect those deep spinal muscles and it feels so good!! especially when you have bad posture
i love rebel because my hands look a lot like hers. i used to hate them when i was younger, i wanted slender fingers, almond shaped nailed, and tiny wrists like my mom but now i love my hands and the power within them :)
I had many relaxing massages in my life but just watching your hand movements keeps me relaxed more then any massage i ve ever had 😍
Personally... i think the narrative and physical speed is extremely fast. Volume quieter would be nice too. Educational and informational though.

Awesome video! Can you do a video on self care for massage therapists? I'm new to the field and my school didn't do a good job on teaching self care.

Hi Allison- Curious if you’d be willing to elaborate on any of the conditions that influence working up or down the s.p.’s (around 3:47 on the vid).

I understood that relaxation depends on the therapist
These videos make me miss being a massage therapist.

Good massage video.
Is it normal to get a little sore from this? I had a coworker therapist do something similar and I was sore.
Is this deep tissue work on the lamina appropriate if I've had a laminectomy to my T10 & T11?
Wow...that’s using your knowledge ... application. Wow...
Excelente masaje. Saludos
It works 👍
Great videos! Go BCMT grads. On a whole other level of mastery. 💯💪🏼
Amazing!!
Good Job My Sister...
Awesome😊❤
I miss massaging so much
LOVE IT
Super
She is good but so much thumb and finger work can lead to injury , instead use the elbow... it can target the same muscles
