With a bait that heavy, are you getting any benefit from the floatation, or is it just for bulk? I know with aquid bait you can use the floatation to make it look alive.
Thankyou for the comment. I am slightly disinclined to agree. Small fish still often get caught with single dangles. Whilst there are systems to directly hook onto a release aid they make it a little more difficult to build a really nice bait ( not impossible but not as easy). Also the flotation the dangle offers is vary handy. Both systems have their time and place
Long time watcher and the things I love about your channel is you show me things I have never seen before. Can’t wait to get out and give this a go
Thankyou for the comment. Glad it helped
Very nice vid mate, I’ve never seen this before but will be knocking up a few for my next outing. Cheers
Thanks mate. Glad you enjoyed it
Great video mate first time seeing this method of baiting can you use it for catching salmon
Perfect for salmon mate
Thanks for the reply and when is part 2 coming 👏🤙👍👍👍
One other thing how thick is the pool noodle and I saw from another reply it also floats because in SA we have a crab problem on the surf beachs
@@johnclisby8451 pool noodle I adjust depending on bait size, usually 1cmx1cm.
Part two will be out soon
@@On-PointAdventures thanks mate keep up the good work have learnt a lot from you 👍👍🤙👏

The benifit I get from it is keeping it suspended higher in the water column to avoid rays, this is why I use pool noodle as it has awesome buoyancy
@@On-PointAdventures excellent
If a smaller fish bites you will never catch it with this system. Also you have systems to directly have the hook on the release
