  • Hi guys, I thought I'd do an updated video on the Dongle set up seen as my original video did so well. this video is mainly aimed at baiting it up with a mix of fish baits. I hope you find it helpful and if there is anything else you'd like to see with the dongle then drop it in the comments below. thanks for watching

Great video I learned a lot from that. Can see you really think about your fishing.

Ive found during a bit of experimenting, that i wasnt completely confident due to the way that the bait on a dongle sits so close to the point of the hook. Was getting quite a few missed bites. Tried the same thing with Varivas Catfish hooks. Was finding the same benefits with dongle ie no more swallowed hooks, but 100% hookups due to how the hookpoint sits nice and proud from the bait👍

Thanks for the video. Superglue soaked into the braid dongle loop definitely helps release.

@@debar1944 I've seen a few people do that, never tried it as I've never had much problem with it coming off but definitely something worth trying

@@marioasprou8548 You can shape the loop a little as well and it feels like plastic when hard. I got the idea from Zoo Look Fishing on TH-cam.

Nice tutorial Mario. Short fat baits all day long instead of long and thin.

Really informative. One bait you didn't use was a king prawn. Is that because dongle rig is unsuitable for a bait that has a tendancy to curl? Brilliant video.

@@stevebrophy8178 it's definite can be used on a dongle. I have only used it a couple times to be honest. I would peel it, cut it down the center and elastic thew two peices either side of the dongle. It would stop it curling as much
