The mod is working well thus far! But when Faendal picks up the ingredients, the duping is a bit inconsistent when Whiterun is reentered. It works, but slowly.
You're right, duping is a bit inconsistent. Some ingredients tend to disappear as you repeat the exit and enter part. To do this faster, after re-entering Whiterun two or three times, collect all the ingredients back into your inventory and drop them again one-by-one, and repeat the whole duping steps again. The more items you drop the more they also duplicate. This way you won't have to keep on repeating the exit and enter part so many times.
I usually craft potions of slow and paralysis. Blue Flower, hanging moss and giants toe for big leaps in skill, and sale value. Luna moth wing and vampire dust give you a potion that regens HP and makes you invisible. You don't actually need Alchemy at 100 for the resto loop... but it does help. You need Alchemy at 3 Perk points at least * it's the easiest way not to go too far and crash your game. Physician, and benefactor. Having it at 100 will make your potions stronger; but you can also leap right up there by crafting a few extra potions with Fortify restoration, and having the enchanted alchemy gear you're going to use anyway to make the god armor equiped. Even if only one piece, it will get you up to 100 alchemy fairly quickly.
O.K. I was wrong... Destruction 1st lev (15 or 20) with 1 point, my Avatar level 30, salmon & more importantly, Roe, using the described method. You can duplicate almost all Alchemy ingredients, Potions & smithy requirements. But Any 'Quest' prizes, Like the skeleton with Dragon scale armour, (To the right and above, ring pure mixture/white phial location), ring of wind won't Duplicate. Also, you get the base items, not enchanted & multi drop give diminishing returns: Black filled gem, dragon scales & the 3 ingredients ref this vid, all suffer. I also lost Lydia, 4 Black filled gems, 2 dragon scales on exiting Whiterun's main gate & then found Alchemy or Enchanter tables crash the game to desktop/start. Finally, Your Avatar Must pickup the Items to close the loop or they respawn, When you Enter/Exit buildings. I had Anniversary b4 the New cc content, with working duplication maniquins at both Falkreath & Solitude & 4 reagent potions via Freda's 'Pure' quest, until the 'Fix' that broke the Restoloop/Ohgma Infinituum repeat, was Applied. Top tip, get follower to chop wood, they use the Majik wood axe of 'Not in my/their Inventory'.
Did'nt duplicate, level 28, flame proof sammon, buggy as Hel, series X 60 fps & think it's getting worse. Houses from Jarls have Roe in Buckets near fish tanks. Is Roe hearthfire dlc? & if you could still get the 2nd option in Alchemy for the 4 reagent potions u'd be minted. Shame they broke Frida's quest reward, Oghma Infinituum & restoloop, bcos some quests are bugged now, Vader spriggans, give potion or quest stays open & mill with boy near Riften, have to speak to his mum b4 find dad or can't complete.
My first playthrough was legit. So in my 2nd playthrough I'm gonna use some in game exploits to get to the point faster. I don’t like cheating but i think as long as you don't console command to get everything, using some exploits isn’t gonna ruin the game. It just make some of the grinding less tedious.
Just looked this up, the alchemy trainer in Raven Rock is higher level, and can train up to 75. Babbet in the Dark Brotherhood can train Alchemy all the way to 90, but obviously you must be a member and progress a bit in their storyline.
Duping is more gratifying. By your logic of being more difficult, it is more rewarding, thus a sense of accomplishment is achieved. Why always use platers to bug through walls when I could just use cc? Because it’s more gratifying to me. Duping has the added benefit of also manipulating the game to do things unintended by the developers which again, more rewarding than pressing a button they gave you.

You can buy 5 skill points from Arcadia every level, I think until level 50.
