Im having water in my oil. I performed the tear down of my impailear and fowned my bearings to be in poor shape. Is the a video for the proper removal of the bearing rings?
I've been researching this also due to an occasional squealing in the area of my impeller shaft. I believe you can replace the mechanical seal from the outside, basically the point your vid ends. But the oil seal and bearings on the impeller shaft has to be replaced from inside the crank case. That means a big job of engine removal and tear down.
I wish you didn't say that. This bike has been a good first bike. Every repair has been very complicated. Is it true? That you have to treat down the whole motor to replace this bearing?? Say it's not so.
First check the mechanic seal. 1. Take the side cover off. A little coolant will spill. 2. Take the impeller off. 3. Look at the mechanical seal. It's probably shot. 4. Remove the mechanical seal. Be careful not to mess with the bearing behind it. The silicone side of the inner bearing may be warped, torn, or destroyed. Doesn't mean the bearing is shot but it may leak coolant in the oil. 5. If you decide to replace the mechanical seal get all the parts. I think there are 3 parts.
What’s the part number for the first seal. I’m in luck where mine is seeping clear coolant. So I might be able to get away with just replacing that seal u ripped off. And what’s the torque spec for the impeller once I put it back on?

If im replacing the water pump mechanical seal...i dont have to drain the engine oil...rigth?
Just the coolant ?

Hello sir good job sir i need learn rediator fiting full kit plz make a video on rediator
So what did you do to get the bearing out??
I did a full engine teardown and rebuild. You have to split the crankcase and pull it from the inside. You can see the full video on my page.
