Hey, thanks a lot for the vid. I've got the identical machine, accept its from 1979. I was riding it and the cam chain was so loose that the top can sprocket skipped a link and the intake valves actually hit the piston and lost compression. I've been wanting to fix it for a while, your video makes me a lot more confident!

Trying to find instructions on lining up the counterbalance shaft with flywheel as in what marks to line up with the balance shaft etc. cant find anywhere???

Very handy video. Same engine as my cb250rs I think so this is just what I need.
Should you replace both the cam chain and the tensioner? I have a replacement chain but the tensioner seems hard to find.

Usually In my experience the cams are always facing down at TDC.
