Tenho uma dessa XL250R branca, 1983 funcionando muito bem !!! Está rodando diáriamente comigo desde 1989 !!! Excelente moto !!!

Merci pour les félicitations.
Pour le collecteur, pas de secret, brosse métallique et huile de coude pour enlever toute la rouille qui se décolle. Bien dépoussiérer à l'air comprimée et 2 couches de peinture haute température en bombe, suivie de 30 minutes de cuisson à 100/120° dans un vieux four électrique.
Ca fini toujours par partir au bout d'un moment, mais ça tient facilement une saison. Reste l'hiver pour recommencer et faire une révision générale pour la saison suivante.

Congratulations,Very nice bike! I have one of this model here in Brazil, exactly red and black like yours, but 1983, i just finish a couple weeks ago a fully restoration that results in a beautiful machine too. Soonner i will put a video in youtube

Bon, je ne sais pas si tu verra ce message car ça fait quand-même 5 ans que cette vidéo à été postée. Je voulais juste te dire que le travail que tu as fait est juste magnifique ! Ça, c'est de la restauration ! C'est juste superbe de voir l'état "avant" et l'état "après". Si c'est pas la cas, tu devrais en faire ton métier, tu aurais du travail assuré.

plz reassure me that the balance shaft chain tensioner adjuster quadrant (without spring which all other models have ) goes the opposite way clockwise to tension, apposed to all other models that go anti-clockwise..
